  1. Ozzfest Weezer/Foo Fighters Coldplay Paul McCartney Gotta agree, there have been a LOT of good shows lately. Wish I'd gone to System and Greenday but will catch them next time. Next ones up 4 me are Billy Idol and Depeche Mode.
  2. Face it, Heat fans. The Heat are gonna accomplish what they always do...nothing.
  3. Who are you to say who is right and wrong? You obviously have no idea that there is no right or wrong. And I've heard that opinion from more than my friends. Perhaps it was an off night but when someone plays just a repetitive drum sound, there is no talent in that.
  4. Everyone I've ever talked to about them says Palash is the one with talent and that Saeed is terrible. I have to agree about the Saeed part. I saw him once and it was literally BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. Awful!
  5. He'll be at the Ultra after party at the American Airlines Arena.
  6. Not true. He is supposed to be on the beach that day not at Space.
  7. He's coming back November 24.
  8. I think the trade for Gordon was a decent trade. He has potential and that's about all the Fins can hope for this season. If they do badly enough, Fiedler and Wanny will be gone and the Fins will have the core of the defense plus Booker, Boston, Chambers, McMichael, Gordon and perhaps the Edge. Now we're fuckin' talkin'!
  9. Totally agree. The K&D Sessions are awesome as well.
  10. Holy shit!!! What a set list!!!!!
  11. That's awesome! Can't wait for the October show.
  12. I've been saying exactly this since Williams has left. Get a WR for Ogunleye, serve Williams his legal papers and then trade him to Oakland for two picks, including a first rounder. Hopefully, the Fins are smart enough to do it. The Williams and Ogunleye thing could be blessings in disguise.
  13. Whether the trade for Booker works out or not this year, I'm stoked that the Fins will go into next year with Booker, Chambers and Boston. Bad ass! Now if the Fins could only solve that damn RB situation out...
  14. I call them "possible" because that is what is John Clayton has listed for the Fins on ESPN.com (there's your source). According to his article, the Dolphins have already contacted Trung Candidate.
  15. Possible replacements for Ricky: Former Jaguars and Texans halfback Stacey Mack, former Rams and Redskins running back Trung Canidate, 32-year-old veteran James Stewart, 34-year-old Dorsey Levens or former Bengals and Saints halfback Curtis Keaton.
  16. All of that info is not contained within one article. It would take me so much time and research to go back a year and start posting up articles. Besides, the Times charge for their archived articles. I'll leave others to do that. If you want to doubt me, that's fine. I am a huge LA Laker fan (I think that'll explain a lot) since I used to live out there in the summers. I read about 95% of The Times b-ball articles and their beat writers do a superb job of publishing the behind the scenes dealings of the Clippers and Lakers, especially the latter. Rob Pelinka, Kobe's agent, told the Clippers a year ago to save their cap space. Ever since, they let Odom and Andre Miller leave in free agency and now perhaps, Quentin Richardson (he was definitely gone had Kobe become a Clipper). The Times would have mentions of Kobe leaving to the Clippers several times during the season so it was no secret to people in LA.
  17. Yeah, it's called the LA Times. Last time I checked, it was a media outlet.
  18. Yeah, Miami can rejoice in the fact that they have Shaq. I bet a lot of Heat/Dolphin fans wish that basketball season started tomorrow since the Fins outlook looks dreary.
  19. Glad to hear that the Cure was great. They are one of the most underrated bands in the world and put on a fantastic show. Wish I could have gone to see them and Interpol.
  20. I am well aware that Lamar was on the Heat this year. I guess I just have to break it down simply for you. Kobe announced he was going to be a free agent last year, as in the end of the regular season of 2003. His agent told the Clippers at that time to clear cap space for this summer. By not keeping Lamar last summer and letting him leave for the Heat, they cleared up some of that cap room. They just didn't think he sucked and let him go to the Heat (that's reserved for players like Keyon Dooling). Kobe didn't just fit into the Clippers plans a month ago. They had him on the radar for well over a year.
  21. It's a shame he won't be playing really but it's his life. You don't want anyone on your team that isn't into what the team is trying to accomplish. Minor won't replace Ricky's stats but he will do an adequate job. They'll just have to find a bruiser to get the tough yard or two now.
  22. Ummm yeah. The Clippers seriously considered matching Odom's Miami deal but decided not to because he made it clear to them that he didn't want to play for them. Besides, they were saving cap room for one of his new teammates who announced he was going to be a free agent...Kobe Bryant.
  23. You can't be serious. Be ready for an immense disappointment if you think that Dooling is the next Odom. There have been only two guys worth a crap in the last 10 years for the Clippers: Odom and Elton Brand.
  24. Critics unjustifiably thought the game had passed Riley by over the past few years. It would have turned out a lot differently if Zo were healthy. He struck gold with the O'Neal deal and now has a chance for a championship. Still, I agree. I still don't think he's going to get the pieces around Shaq this year to win a championship. Keeyon Dooling??? Please, he's never done anything in his career except be a lottery bust.
