the management at vudu lounge and my team had their issues..and last week was definitly an interesting experience...lol..but as for the party..to clear all rumors..it will continue...we came to an understanding....so friday nights..for trance afterhours...dancing..drinkign and all that fun stuff...everyone is more than welcome to check it out. i think we have a great party on our hands..and new york definitly needs this, so lets keep this babyyy going. LAST FRIDAY..THE 23RD, THE VUDU LOUNGE WAS SUPPOSED TO LAUNCH AN ALL TRANCE NIGHT PUT TOGETHER BY A TEAM CALLED ADDICTED. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT..THE OWNERS PULLED A FAST ONE ON THE TEAM AND THREW THEM OFF AND PUT A 20 MIN HIP HOP SET ON...SO MANY PEOPLE LEFT..AFTER THAT..AROUND 1 AM TRANCE BEGAN AND PEOPLE STARTED DANCING AND BUGGING OUT(THE ONES WHO STAYED)..ABOUT 350 PEOPLE(THE VENUE HOLDS 250 SO IT WAS PACKED)....ALOT OF PROBLEMS HAPPENED BETWEEN SKOOF AND THE OWNERS. AFTER 2 DAYS OF NEGOTIATING...THE CLUB MADE AN OFFER.....HIP HOP TILL 1..AND HOUSE AND TRANCE ALL NIGHT AFTER(KINDA LIKE AN AFTER HORUS PARTY).....AS OF NOW DJ/PRODUCER SKOOF IS CONTINUING WITH IT..IN HOPE OF HAVING HIS PEOPLE PACK THE CLUB AND HAVE SOMEWHER TO GO FOR A WEEKLY TRANCE PARTY..SOMEWHER ETO DANCE AND BUG OUT. IN MY OPINION..HE IS TOO GOOD FOR THAT PLACE..HE TORE UP THE PLACE WITH HIS SET..AND SHOULD NOT B WASTIN HIS TIME THERE(MAYBE THE MONEY IS GOOD)..BUT JUST TO FIL PEOPLE IN..THAT I TOO WAS AMONG THEPEOPLE IN THE CROWD WHO WAS FRIOUS WHEN HIP HOP WAS ON EARLIER IN TEH NIGHT...BUT NOW ITS OFFICIAL..THE NIGHT STARTS OFF WITH HIP HOP TO PLEASE THE YUPPIE UPTOWN LOSERS...AND THEN AFTER 1..ITS ALL TRANCE FOR THE TRUE....I HOPE EVERYONE ATTENDS AS I WILL...BECUASE I BEELIVE WE HAVE TO WORK HARD TO KEEP THE SCENE ALIVE...AND ITS ALL WHAT WE MAKE OF IT..SO IF WE ALL ATTEND..AND BUG OUT AND DANCE...WE CAN MAKE THIS ONE OF NYC BEST PLACE FOR TRANCE MUSIC..AS PROMISED WHEN IT WAS PROMOTED OVER 2 MONTHS AGO....MUCH LOVE, MIKE. bottom line management SCREWED the dj..the promoters and everyoen who worked so hard on this event. they used them. and i heard they ripped them off...the team putting this party together LOST money cause of those scumbags....the owner of that place is the same owner from club ny..(the club the puffy had his little trouble with)...now they are going to get into even more legal trouble...i think the addicted team is taking legal action.cause by that club screwing up the supposidly "all trance party" it compromised the legitmacy of teh dj and staff....but i agree with the ealier post..skoof is amazing that set that night definitly blew my mind....so i wish him the best. CHOOSE YOUR VENUES MORE WISELY!!..lol

AS FOR THE 2 HOURS OF MUSIC HE PLAYED..I ENJOYED IT. BUT LESSON LEARNED= NEVER DO BUSSINESS UPTOWN..NEVER EVER EVER..SCREW ALL THOSE HIP HOP CLUBS AND POSH VENUES, F*K THEM UP THEIR STUPED ASSES. NY DESPERATLY NEEDS A NEW NIGHT FOR OUR SHIT BESIDES ARC. EXIT SUCKS..AVALON IS MAKING EVERYTHIGN TOO COMMERCIAL. SOUNDFACTORY IS RETARDED AND SO IS THE CROWD AND ALL HIP HOP CLUBS AND STUPID BLING BLING WANNA B RAPPERS MAKE ME SICK...WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD. DOWN WITH VUDU! F*** asses tried screwing the addicted team...it was supposed to b trance all night..but last min they tossed skoof off the decks for a POINTLESS 20 min hip hop set....after that..skoof got back on teh decks and teh rest of the night was all trance..great set..lasted a few hours...the crowd was bugging out.( feel bad for those who left so early)..but i dont blame them at all..i would do THE SAME EXACT THING. for those who stayed..im glad to see that they enjoyed themselves..as for skoof going back to vudu..i dunno...rumor has it(from a freind of a freind of a feind).( u know how this bullshit works)..that skoof is going to bounce from that place..the venue screwed his team out of like 3 thousand bux..DOWN WITH VUDU!!..( i also have no affiliation with the vudu)..PS- did anyone else get a copy of sunset sounds?..that cd is freaking incredible

yup.... a nice dance floor...and the bar is nice and long at the other end of the club..so there is an area for the drinkers..a dancefloor for the dancers..and nice VIP lounge sections to chill out
