  2. well there is no "all of the above" option, so help me out and pick one you like more... i've got this poll running in a few different places, and so far, it's pretty even...

    Mini-Season

hmm...i thought mini-season normally started the 1st or 2nd week in august for some reason... ah well...i'll be down in the Keys in early September... we have a hidden spot where there's about 100-200 "bugs" all huddled up every year.... we'll be crackin' a few heads, as usual...
  5. not trying to start an argument...and i could be wrong here, but i would think LIVE to many (as opposed to "some") means Live PA (which is a redundant term in of itself....because even the DJs are playing through the PA). in any case, yeah, it seems like an undefined term in the industry... otherwise, EVERY dj on every flyer/listing/etc could virtually have "live" next to their name. yeah, no shit they're "live and in the flesh"... it's not like they sent a replacement robot clone of themselves... anyway...back to our regularly scheduled programming...
  6. why does it say "live" next to Jason? the flyer doesn't mention it... and considering the size of Lush, i doubt there'd be room for any kind of real live setup.
  7. it's HUGE...you should really scale down the whole thing a bit. try not to use graphics for everything... try using tables and actual text when possible. right now, each page is made up soley of one oversized image 2400x3300 pixels (but scaled down to the current view)...not sure why you did it this way, but it's going to take much longer than necessary when you want to make edits later on. also, try not to use so many different font styles and font colors in one place (and not all so large and in bold). consistency in these issues will give it a much cleaner look. there's an old saying in design: "less is more". ditch that POS called FrontPage and get a decent web design proggy like GoLive or Dreamweaver for better results. (GoLive CS actually integrates seamlessly with Photoshop now, and saves a lot of time with layout management). i'd offer some more suggestions, but your site went down again... let me know if you ever want a host with 99.9% uptime.
  8. could be anything on any given night... there's no consistency with that place. definitely not a place to take a chance with if you don't know what's going on there that night.
  9. agreed. (and a *cough* full-length *cough* release)
  10. calling all Rabbitheads.... i just revised the Rabbit In The Moon forums...enjoy!
  11. why in the name of all that is sane would you want to install that piece of elephant crap on your mac?
  12. wow d00d....settle down...no need to resort to the name-calling, etc... first of all, the "ridiculous" statement was directly following you saying "This freak cannot take my good name." deciphering exactly what you meant could easily go either way with that order... in any case, "this freak cannot take my good name" is a funny statement when you look at how Monk has been an integral part of the electronic scene with that name for well over 10 years. internationally reknowned for his work with RITM...running the Hallucination label...and not to mention, he's touring all over the world... if you've never heard one of his sets, this is definitely something to check out and see what you've been missing.
  13. wait a sec...you moved to Orlando? that's where i'm from originally. sorry to say, but Whorelando's time in the electronic scene was on the downhill by the late '98.... what you found is a good part of what is left. but too many alt-rock, coyote-ugly-style bars continue to dominate the orlando scene. yes, you are correct in that Tabu plays some shitty music...but it's not orlando's largest club. Groove over at Citywalk is much larger (although, you'll find the music there is mostly crap as well). ah well...at least the drinks are cheaper...and yeah, the girls are generally nicer... but i'll never live there again.
  14. wake up from that dream...we got room for ya', girl...
  15. i just saw that... and yeah, i hear ya on the flyers....although personally, i rely on the internet for my "whazappenin" info... in any case...friends are comin down for this one....and it's your birthday... so we're gonna' celebrate proper, mah friend! w00t!
  16. heh heh...yeah exactly. also, why is this not posted on either the hallucination.com show dates or djmonk.com?
  17. why don't you and eric come over and watch it one night this week?
  18. Berkley from Hallucination On Film did most or all of the video editing...
  19. Sandra's not his sister....she does have the same last name, however... she can rock the 1's and 2's, and she's real nice in person, so she has my respect....but it'd be a hard to compare the two as to which is "better"....
  20. yes!....bringin' me back bro... that set has the undisputed best trance tune of all time.... Union Jack - Two Full Moons and a Trout (Caspar Pound remix) best night ever for me still was at Firestone in '95 with Kimball Collins, Union Jack (LIVE), and Cosmic Baby (LIVE).... that was when trance was good....
  21. that sucks...poor Kimball.... last time he came to Chili Pepper and there was no crowd either... a lot of people down here still don't know who he is, for some reason. he used to do a lot of shows in Orlando back in the day....then he went international... ah well...it was a good set in any case....
