Don't know where my DT roll call thread went but I am very annoyed that I cannot go tonight.. this weather is horrendous and a lot of my crew can't go because of this weather as well.. just wasn't happening and along with my parents coming into the city @ 12noon tomorrow to go see my apt and talk to my landlord.. yeah NOPE I have to be in tip top condition.. Okay well I promised someone I'd do this. So okay I get there @ 10:30 with my friend to first meet Marcello (DJ Eco) and of course a few people from Pacha are there that I worked with the following week-- never can I escape the business. Anyway.. I am sure all of you have been to Show-- great venue with that old-school feel. People started piling in around 12 really-- but well.. it was probably 90% Asian. I am far from racist-- just I CANNOT and I know you all cannot either deal with those drugged out Asians rocking their wives to whatever the hell rhythem they think they're hearing-- when in fact they are so off key it is almost nauseating to watch. Well, until about 2:30 I was mainly in the DJ booth with Marcello and not even because he is my friend.. he dropped bomb after bomb. After we were on the dance floor and all of the Asians stared at us as though we were prophets.. I am guessing they never saw real house dancing before lmao. If you ask anyone else that was there or if you were there yourself, I can 95% guarantee you would agree. Marcello-- props to you! We all actually left around 3:30.. the Asian invasion was taking a toll on me haha. Merrit did very well though-- bomb after bomb as well. The bass upstairs sounded so much better than when you were on the main floor.. but well this crowd couldn't tell Jack from Jill so they were loving every minute. All in all though, a great night for me personally to see a few people I haven't been able to see in a LONG time.. and for once not to work and have to kiss face with every person I know. Hope you all had a great memorial weekend.. to all of you that went to the Hamptons-- I am 100% envious of you. See you all at DT . Oh and also.. great lighting effects, but those weird graphics they were displaying on the screen made me feel like I was tripping haha. -Jen
