also, i remember being in europe a couple of years ago.. (3-4?) and i saw the video if ROGER S. "another chance". I shit my pants when i saw the club that they filmed in the video was CF. good lord, you people have no idea how much this sucks the more I think about it. The only place worth going to.. The only place ALWAYS gauranteed to have th best crowd,music,etc makes me wonder.. whose fucking idea was it to close that place? whose fucking idea was it to make it an afterhours crack fest with draper and boris?....those people should be shot in the knee caps.

<tear> The roger S days there, DESTROYS the crobar Roger S. I went to crobar to see roger S a few months back. I WAS PUMPEDD to relive the old CF vibe, But I seriously found it horrible. the crowd was dull ..boring as ass. [ Funny though, EVERYONEE was saying how he ripped it sick and the party was insane. But nobody was moving.The dance floor was filled with people stanidng and staring-sipping their drinks.] Seriously, i dont care about venues. parties are parties. but centro fly really captured something. Just thinking about it makes me sad. It used to be the ONE place i ALWAYS had the energy to go to. Whether i wanted to bug out, or just kick back with some freinds. Also, WHILE SF,EXIT,ETC were UBER popular (99-2002?) with the newbies, Centro was the one place that played TOP-TOP TOP TOP quality music. it went downhill in 2003-2004 when they booked people like boris and had those SF style parties. (i used to love seeing people with glow sticks RUNNING for the coat check @ 1am, all pissed off because the music "wasnt hard enough") It was the one place that pleased everyone (except those dorks). You would even catch some 40-50 year olds celebrating their bday in the back table/vip room. EVERYONE got along. there was no "type" of person that went there.

Best club in NYC. Had a mix of class-talent-layback dresscode-staff-and crowd. i havent enjoyed going out as much since very very depressing.

wait. someone said a proffesional dj PROGRAMS A MIX for the night? uhh no. A real dj can take any record at any time, out of any crate and make it work. The best is when a REAL DJ, just foes with the flow and pics songs at random. Songs that he feels would continue the vibe. I REFUZE TO SEE A DJ WHO PRACTICES A PRE PROGRAMED MIX. YUCK!

skoof is the only local [trance] that i trust. Ive been to so many parties where the music selection is great, but BAM every mix is coming from a dj that sounds like hes been spinning for a few months. Im definitly going to check this out. My cuzin has some hott guy freinds who came up from DC and are looking for a trance event. Im definitly going to come through and support this.

Uplifting Energetic Vocal-~~ Webster is supposed to bring in derb, in my opinion too hard...yeah, kai tracid is hard, but they have some of the most beautiful melodic points in their tracks. When a trance event happens in NY, the places are packed and everyone is so happy - tossing their hands in the air...dancing..etc. BUT NOOOO, unless its a big trance event, with the freaking same "top"5 djs coming every few months-they wont act like that on normal club nights. WAKE UP NY - It seems like even if the DJ blows, just knowing that they are seeing "pvd" or whatever.makes them flip out and have the best time regardless(which is great). But then you can have a sickk local dj with talent out the ass, and people are just like EH, (even if the music and style/talent is the same). You people know what i mean? its all a trend nowadays. Pitty.

Sony is fantastic, BUT i have a sweet spot for the technisc. The rundown and get used really quickly, but the flexbility cant be matched.
