  2. PVD was my favorite DJ for years and years. The last two times I saw him, I really hated it. I think he lost his touch. I know there will be some people here that will say I don’t know what I am talking about, and that PVD was amazing last night. But to my opinion, he really sucked. He hardly spins any Trance anymore. It’s just hard house, and sounds terrible. I know he is probably trying to evolve, but in this case, he is evolving the wrong way. In the middle of the set, the music got shut down because of some technical difficulty and he just stood there helpless. I think that his music was so bad, that the decks decided to shut down on him. He didn’t get the message, and got back on after about 5 minutes, and continued with his repetitive boring beats. I will not even begin to describe the crowd that showed up to this party. It’s really sad. There was a group of Asians next to me. One of them was passing out, and instead of taking him outside, his friends were all hugging him and forcing him to stand up. You could see he was not in good shape, and I really felt bad for him. What’s up with these drug infested people? On another note, the venue was done very well, and the sound system rocked. The place is really organized. Coat check was great. Thmbs up to Made Event on this production. .
  3. Is this a personal statement???? Hehe.

    You an exhibiter or attande????
  5. That's not true. You would be surprised to know that some of the bigger DJs don't. Most of them do, but some manage to produce and spin sober. That is a FACT. I would imagine that even those that don't probably experimented at some point in their life to "broaden their horizons"
  6. The owners don't care about music, or having a good crowd. They hire big and strong bouncers to manage to overwhelmingly dumpy crowd that goes in there, and let as many people in as possible regardless of who they are, or what they are dress like. I don't blame the WH management. There in the business of making money, and decided long time ago not to pay attention to the music, the DJs or the dance scene. It will never ever be good again. Unless, someone else buys the venue, destroys it, and rebuilds it. The space itself has good potential.
  7. Hehe. I was at that party too. Did you know Tiesto was at Glow that same night? Was insane.
  8. 1. Bring in new unknown talents from around the world. 2. Crowd selection for well dressed people, and keep the punks outside 3. NO Glow-sticks 4. NO dress-less sweaty animals 5. NO overdosed/over-drugged unconscious people. If they are already in, and become that way, throw them out!!! If people want to get recreational, they need to know how to do it with good taste Overall, keep the experience clean and fun. .
  9. Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance Is On Right Now http://www.di.fm/home.php
  10. No need to argue. Everyone can like whatever they want. It's just so happan that more people in the world like Trance over house. In my opinion House is boring.
  11. Trance is the best in my opinion. It has the best energy, and emotional melodies that can really move you. The problem is the people that Trance has been attracting in the past years. The scene had been ruined by drug addicts, and people who simply go to parties because they think they are cool. Every time a big Trance DJ comes around, they go to see him so they can talk about it the next day, and say there were there. They don't really go to listen to the music, and enjoy. I love Trance. But the Trance scene in NY is making me sick. It's important to keep in mind that this is not the same at other places around the world. It's mostly in NY, and some other US cities. .
  12. Is it me, or does it seem that Jonathan Peters has a B-Day party every few month???
  13. . Was a good night overall. Too crowded Spirit ran out of room at the coat check around 1 and had to improvise by creating a new temporary coat check upstairs .
  14. . The New York Nightclub Aassociation (NNA) decided to add another step in the club entry procedure protocol. Here is the new process: 1. Wait in line outside. 2. Show ID at the door, and get in. 3. Get frisked for drugs and/or weapons. 4. Inspect for the use of deodorant, and check for Body-Odor. 5. Pay to get in (Unless you are on a guest list) and enjoy the party. What’s up with people lately? Went to Spirit last night, and the place had a serious Body-Odor Stench everywhere. **********************************************************
  15. Hey, DJ Yahel just came out with a new CD...you can listen to it at http://www.djyahel.com/superset/ Just sharing the music...
  16. Oscar will draw a decent crowd anywhere else. It's just that Avalon sucks, and no one wants to go there.
  17. Guys. Please correct me if I am wrong but I am not sure at all that Spirit has a Phazon system. As far as I know, the only Phazon systems in the city are at Crobar, and at Roxy (Yes Roxy), and yes they were built by Steve Dash and his team.
  18. Not a problem at all. You will have fun. If you like Trance, and never seen Yahel, you will definately have a good time. Enjoy.
  19. Yahel is a great DJ. He spins (and produces) great Trance Asi Kojak is one of Israel's biggest DJs as well, and he spins progressive house. Due to the promoters that are involved, this will be a mostly Jewish/Israeli party. Should be fun.
  20. 2 tickets for New Years Eve at PACHA
  21. So how many stickies will this page have on the week of NYE??? Anyone care to guess???
