  1. Typical clubplanet response "Trance is not real music, there's no soul, and Tiesto is just a sellout ( yea god forbid your a DJ with personality who knows how to make somne $$$)with no real talent who just smiles alot. New York is about House music with feeling and emotions, not like trance which is just bass and horns, no real connection", there i suumed it up for all you bitches before you start attacking trance and Tiesto i saved you the trouble of giving us your recycled garbage
  2. is this the same kid all grown up from teens guide????
  3. This rips off "teens guide to clubbing" and those kids do it better. You ripped me off (hoo hoo Howard)
  4. moe03 you are the typical ny Times reader, yes all palestinians are terrorized, in fact Mislims as a whole are good people, Islam is a peaceful religion, I for one dont understand how Muslims get their reputation, all over the world, America, france, amsterdam, Israel, they live and play with their neighbors nicely, are kind and tolerant, strong believers in human rights, at the forefront of womens sufferage, what a bunch of misunderstood people. The problem with the world today is the Christians and the Jews, they dominate a the world so arabs have to be mean, look the Iranian doctors who ran fron iran and the iraqi soccer players who were tortured by saddam's sons are not good examples of what the Muslim world is like.
  5. did any of you ladies grow up in NY or ever go to English class, cause some of you need to learn sarcasm. probably the sme idiots I run into at Fourbucks and when I say " wow this line is moving really fast" they turn to me with the confused look on their face!

  10. New York has hot girls waiting to get into marquee, Lotus, and Duvet, than after they get in they wait to be invited to a table so some Yuppie can give them drinks all night and possible get some ass Alaska has igloos where women dressed from head to toe wait for a man to catch them some dinner NY has clubplanet.com where people tell me how bad trance is, how great Cielo is and only they know how to dance, what real EDM music is, yea we cant call it house because these guys who post up 1 milliom messages will get mad alaska has tourists arriving on cruise ships looking foward to seeing ice and snow because they cant get enough of that at home

  18. cottoncandy, anyone else from Ultra we know you check out this board ALL the time, evrryone on the NY scene does, why not post a responce, hey were sorry, something, then you wonder why the scene is bullshit here as compared to Europe. Thats why all the people who love the scene here go to ibiza, amsterdam, etc. they do things right
  19. ok first lets deal with cottoncandy, thiswas a major event, put on by an orginization that does things like this EVERY year, at a venue that always hosts major concerts, and it cost $60. NO EXCUSE for messing up, in buisness you get one shot to do the right thing and you did not. You should not look for sympathy from the paying customers PERIOD. Someone should have also figured out that the tents were going to turn into a sauna, how about some ventilation. I understand the sound could not interfere with the main stage, but the area behind the dj could have been leftopen, maybe some ventilation holes, fans, anything. Whether we like Oakenfold or not (and I know on this bord many dont) he is still a world class DJ, i have not been happy with his efforts in the past, but last night he gave it his all, he was visibly annoyed, but when he dropped traffic (tiesto) the crowd finally reacted. Teneglia and Morillo, 2 homegrown superstars in their hometown, was a recipe for success. They did a great job, conditions were small and hot. Beer prices were fair but they ran out, Chemical Brothers were great. listen i agree that edm needed the exposure here in Ny, but that has no relation with the failure of the production. Im glad they sold out and sold lots of merchandise, I am rooting for them because i love outdoor festivals, but we have to say what wrong so it can be corrected. I dont mean to bitch and moan but the money paid should equal a deserving performance. Morrilo and teneglia great job
  20. michael moore=reason kerry lost and the democratic party has lost me as a member and the whole party continues to wither away into oblivion now consider me a part of the RUDY wing of the right, pro choice, pro union, anti asshole like moore
  21. if its like ultra Miami they will announce set times 1 hour after the event has started

  23. i love that everybody now uses "EDM"- who coined this term and when did it become so trendy (eltronic dance music).
  24. I have XM in my car, and have dish network at home which broadcats the Sirius feed. I love XM because of Opie and Anthony, BPM is a good dance chanel and the System plays some good trance songs, THE MOVE palys mostly Drum and Bass but they hav the Avalon show and Def Mix which plays some David Morales mixes, alot of Morillo type of house, the 1 dj(ANNOUNCER ALAN FREED) sux. Sirius area 63 is great for all u trance fans, PVD,Tiest<armin, great NY style dj,s. kinda KTU, but with EDM knowledge. Sirius, with radio 1 is def better, i like XM but sirius has better announcers aND BETTER MIXES
