Sorry it took me so long to post, its been crazy busy at work. But what can I say, Diggers never lets me down, always a super time. And can I mention that the hubby and I had a great time partying with Juddy! So cool to meetcha dude so far everyone I have met has been awsome I took my camera to take pics, but I only got to take one of me and hubby, and a little mpeg of diggers (only like 15sec) before the camera died Boooo thhh! Oh well, next time I will have to remember to charge the camera better.

Thanx for the PM JB, we opted not to do table/bottle, since they wanted to charge per person, as well as the $250-500 per bottle. Seems like Avalon thinks they are in Vegas:rolleyes: But the hubby and I are def. going. Shorty Star was suppose to meet up with us, but her and her other half had a previous engagement. I hear ya girl, I dont have a lot of family to speak of, but to me my friends are my family. I love them alot. One of my friends, who is like the sister I never had, just left to get her masters at John Hopkins in baltimore, and although she frequently reminds me "it's only a year!" I miss her a bunch. and I cant wait until next fall, for her graduation me, the hubby, her, and her brother are going to Munich for oktoberfest, and a stay in London. She is one of a few people that def has my unconditional love.

First off I am soo glad that Drai's is still playing house, there is just not enough places to hear house/electronica in vegas, so I would hate to see the rap/top40/hip hop genre dominate yet another venue. It's a cool place to hit And I will have to go to seamless next time in town. thanx I have also been to Empire...so sorry to hear that there has been so many negative experiences I went to see D:Fuse, BT, and have been there on a no one special nite, each time had fun. (and I went with and without my friend Raul from vegas status VIP). And for Lefty, maybe I dont understand...If space is selling tickets, isnt that a def in ? So why grease security with >$50 to get in? In L.A. if a uber d.j. is spinning, I def either buy a ticket, or arrange table bottle. both are shew ins over here.

So I was doing some research and he is playing at Avalon that Sat., the only site that had the info was wantickets and the only way I found that out was by going to Diggers' web site. I am gonna talk to the hubby about bottle service that night, that way I ensure a spot for dancin without the hype.

Sounds like fun!! If I dont party too hardy the night before, and can get my lazy arce out of bed on time, would love to go.

I got the Rabbit in the Moon "Decade" album for my bday last week, and let me just say the DVD is out of control awsome They used some footage from their performance at Ultra this year. I give it a thumbs up!! I cant wait to see them again, they are great performers.

I think alot of us are tired of the drama, bad vibe peeps who have commercialized the "rave scene", are ready for something underground and different. a smaller group of people with smiles on their faces, and love in their hearts will always be better than people who walk around thinking they are better than everyone, call you names, and expect you to watch where they are going. thhhh! I will def be checking it out, the last time I frequented RED I saw Chris Lawrence at arena, met excellent peeps there too.

I thought it was O.K... Of course it was no where as spectacular as last year, even the ferris wheel wasnt lit up. but music was desent, and crowd was very nice. One of the high points was when the chic came out to sing Shivers and another song, which I know and like but was too buzzed to remember, I love live performances. (for example Deep Dish at Avalon last year, I loved the live performance of "Say Hello" of course this little insert is directed at my girl Weyes heheehe) I met shorty star, her hubby, who I always have a blast partying with, and a group of their friends , who by the way were also super nice It was a cool birthday, and by the way Thank you, Thank you, Thank you shorty for the most awsome bday gift, you are a love Cool1 should have met up wit us for a drink or 10 friend!

Yeah, from the way I hear it, it happend on a Friday, which is also a hip hop night. The dude actually made it the fwy 101, before caught. That is some terrible shit. Hey does anyone remember how Spundae use to have the metal detector you had to go through upon entrance to the club, if things are getting that out of control, then maybe more clubs should encorporate them for everyones safety. Cause mofo's have got to chill out.

Holy poo!!! that is a blast from the plast, not only did me and my motley crew use to hear him all the time at Insomnia like in 2001-02, he played afterhours on the radio alternating with Jason Bentley. ahh yes, Good times

He was stocky, brown hair, usually does security by the bathrooms, my hub said he looked like a Van Damme wanna be. And yeah, I feel bad that happend too, because we wont be able to ever go back there. As for the other security guys, Sergio, and Mondo always took really good care of us, kept us safe. They knew we were really there just to party, not cause trouble. For example, during the Diggers/Mstrkrft show, there was a hideous fight at the table next to ours, the guy kicked another guy in the head!! Mondo came and hung out with us the rest of the night. It really made me feel safe, and we had a great time. sigh...oh well.

And that my friend is sad as well, that the security are the coolest peeps at a club. Only on a very few nights have I found the crowd at Avalon positive. I agree that security is not an issue there. But I like the crowd at Vanguard more often than not, maybe they should hire Avalons' security...
