I know it wil be tough to commit over the next week or so, with the Thanksgiving holiday.. since we have some sushi fans here, lets plan within the next couple of weeks to hit up Kyojian

I agree. Although new here, I can say that one of the issues,from what I see is a lack of involvement outside of the boards. Collectively, if there we more gatherings outside the forums... bars, clubs, concerts... maybe even the occasional small house party, it would give the board more spark. Ive posted a few requests for meet ups on Ft Lauderdale, without success. By no means am I going to give up tho. I met Mike (HomerSimpson) and he seems like a cool guy. Your guys/gals ideas ?

Recently Yes. Been hitting up wine tastings at the local cellar on a regualar basis. it gives me an opportunity to try different ones, and figure out my tastes. Last was with dinner, with fish and scallops

Show was awesome. 1st time I went to Club Cinema, and was a decent set up for a medium sized crowd/venue. Easy access to bars, and you could see the stage from pretty much anywhere. Couple opening bands... Don't remember the name of the 1st.. somewhat drowned out lyrics. 2nd band, The Bangkok 5. Awesome stage presence. Lead vocals reminded me of Buck Cherry. The Cult came out and rocked the house, as expected. We were front right of center stage, front row . Billy Duffy's 3 Marshall stacks were blasting, and at times, I felt that Ians voice was floundering out, but it wasn't, It was the crowd overpowering the lyrics! The cheering from the crowd sounded like a stadium of 15-20K people, not 1500. Set list included, Wildflower, Rain, Peace-Dog, Edie Ciao Baby, Fire Woman, more tracks from Dreamtime and Electric, and of course Love Removal Machine.. which I must add, every single fan in the place was waving their hands in the air and going nuts. My voice took till today to completely come back. I walked out of there, sweaty, ears ringing, and voiceless.. loving every minute of it. It took me about 3 more hours to completely wind down, but it was well worth the experience.
