Ironically enough, it wasn't until he did this, that he started getting recognition and breaking the prestigious million record barrier. Although some would argue that he still represents the electronica scene, there are those that would argue. If you don't include him, quite honestly according to sound scan, the best selling electronic artist is paul oakenfold, and he sells 250,000 copies which for our scene is phenomenal. people like dieselboy- 80,000, bad boy bill - 100,000, dj micro - 64,000, these numbers are even considered great by our music's standards. but let's be honest. It's no where near eminem's 5 million, jay-z's 4 million, so thus eminem does have a point when he says no one listens to techno. considering he's outselling our scene's best selling artist by 2000%. oh, and eminem vs. nas, would be an interseting battle. but you put 1992 nas vs. present eminem and i def gotta give it to nas.
