dude...

most of us are talking bout having lunchboxes when we were in kindergarten.

If you were in kindergarten or 1st grade and brought a brown bag lunch you basically would be sitting at the Welfare lunch table...

BUT...

as years went on..the tides had changed where as, brown bag lunch was the shyte and fuckin if you had a lunchbox in any grade after 1st, then it was prolly because the welfare checks had kicked in and you couldnt afford brown paper bags but yet, could afford a nice plastic lunchbox at a garage sale for .39 cents.

I think that if you were in kindergarten in the mid-70's like I was EVERYONE had a lunchbox. Mine was a metal Partridge Family and I may possibly still have it! I still have my fifth grade knap sack, the olive green ones with the two straps with the little metal thingys on the end. Anyway....

Well, it was '80 for me, but I was thinking the same thing... these kids who never had a lunchbox don't know what they were missing out on!!! And of course my first one was metal, altho I can't remember what was on it. I did at one point have a "Disco" lunchbox, in fact I saw the same exact one in a thrift store one day, lol.

I don't know about the welfare table, and no one specified about what year of school we were discussing. However, I am sure I had a lunch box in Kindergarden. Can I remember what it was hell no I cant
