mugwump Posted October 23 Report Share Posted October 23 (mugz does the snoopydance in place)I GOTTA JOBI GOTTA JOBI GOTTAAA JOOOB!!! so I took a long shot and sent my resumeOverseas..just kinda dreaming thatsomeone might want to hire an oldschool animation director...I gave up and after myfinal plan to just move back andtry working as a gondola rower(or something) until i findsomething better in my field..I get this e-mail a couple days ago..as it turns out they are are lookingfor senior animators for thegraphics Dept at "CINECITTA"(the studio where FedericoFellini use to make his films)so i use a calling card and call todayand i have an interview next friday!(but they said I was what they where lookingfor and if I don't go in as an "animator" i goin as an assistant for starters!)ssswwweeeet! Wait, stop.... how funny is this! On my desk is my postcard from there still lol ... Ok. If this area is called Trastevere ..... on the main road, just as you start walking to the most famous church in that area called Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere is a cafe, indoor and outdoor, (inside had wood panelling, stairs several floors down to go the bathroom)... just get the pasta --- the pasta and sauce is ABSOULTELY incredible and decent price. Now, this cafe is right on the main street of Rome, about three blocks from the church. It's NOT the cafe in front of the church..... And oh, if you start walking ot the church and pass a music store, you'lll walked too far.Also, no joke, the Hard Rock Rome cafe upon the Via Vento --- if you get a graving for american food restaurant, it's the same price as here, maybe a bit cheaper ... hamburger, fries, and onion soup (well, yeah that's french) lol all veryyyy good and decent priced.Was in Rome recently.
