livin42nite Posted July 6 Report Share Posted July 6 K so last night leave space early to get home and get some sleep before having to wake up pretty early, but my stupid ass decides hey let me have a quick listen to this cd that I've been dying to hear for quite some time. I will give a full review later, but for now let me tell you I might have well have stayed at space cause I ended up driving for about an hour and a half after I left space unable to skip through a second of the mix. It is simply amazing and I just kept driving and driving hoping the mix would not end. I got close to home and realized I still had some 6 tracks left in the mix to hear so got on the palmetto, then 75 north and just drove way too fast. Roland and biz, I blame you for the lack of sleep last night, I nearly got a ticket, and my tank is now dangerously close to empty. Seriously thanks guys, your hard work payed off and the cd is great, one of the best releases this year. Everybody on this board needs to get a copy, something for everyone on there. I loved the mix.. great programming, mixing and overall layout of the CD. As I mentioned in my other post (space saturday), I was honored to recieve such great response and support from many of you this past Saturday. This will go down as one of my most memorable nights @ 34. Probably the best "local" cd I have seen and looked better than many major label releases.2. Biz's introduction - must give the credit where it is due - props on the intro inside the cd case.3. Techinical mixing of cd tracks were very well done as well. The sound was very good.Negative:1. Just one - the music. I hate the tracks. Nothing against you Roland and nothing personal - just did not enjoy one track on the cd.Roland - the effort you put into this project is evident and I wish you well.
