tastyt
Originally posted by smokesum Requiem for a Dream..i thought was extremely overated..even though Ellen Barkin's performance was awesome It's funny, I wasn't crazy about it the first time I watched it. It was completely different from what I expected and that kind of threw me off track. After watching it the second time, knowing what to expect, I was able to pay attention to the subtler details. I pick up on something new each time I watch it; I like it more with each viewing.Oh and it's Ellen Burstyn (sp?), not Ellen Barkin, lol... Ellen Barkin is the waitress in Fear and Loathing, you know, "back door beauty? (emphasis on the question mark)"
