We told the bouncer we didn't care to pay full cover as long as we could get in and he gave us the "your'e only guys and your'e screwd typa' deal". I told him in a nice tone of voice "listen buddy I've been waiting for some time to listen to these djs and if I had a girl she would be with me right now... I just want to listen to the djs, have some drinks and a good time" and nope.... no way of entering. I explained him I was a dj and have played at crobar, space, nerve, Living Room etc... And the bouncer didn't even let me finish the sentence.... simply ignored. Have been living here for some time now... have contributed to every club that has opened for the last 8yrsor so, before there was an industry or big fuzz about Mia.......and have never felt so low in my life. 3 respectable peeps who where well dressed, had money in our pockets, have partied in cities all around the world, who are part of the music-club industry not only in Miami but also in South America and other parts....and no way of getting respect. Well.....fuck all off ya's...Dade and Nick ..I know you have nothing to do with this...but a music event is supposed to be about music...no about ridiculous door policies. Peace, Oscar Fonseca. Peace, Oscar Fonseca. thats what you get with those type of clubs on sobe...mynt, prive, shoreclub. i dont know why u feel "so low in your life" it wouldve happend to any 3 guys not going with girls. so dont take it personal. i dont like going to those phony "look at me" clubs. ill do it once in a blue moon and get a table to avoid Mr. french accent at the door and his ego trip for being a doorman. its never a comfortable feeling in them.im not surprisedmany bitch at space with this that or the other and the service and the dj is not my favorrite. but at least youll get in uf u want to go. Opium sucks but they have their market, and are the most suceessful club in florida. But it's your fault for going late....And if I were a boucer I wouldn't give a fuck where you spun either... That's not something that's exclusive to Opium Garden. I personally stood on the door myself until 12.30 to make sure everyone got taken care of, and there are quite a few CP peeps who can vouch for that. I'm sorry you had problems - you have my cell # and next time you come to one of our events just call me.Aside from that though the place was busier than I've seen it a long time, and 99% of people had a blast. poysoniv Posted November 22 Report Share Posted November 22 well, in my opinion, the party was not too happening at opium but it was way better inside prive. the sound at opium was really weak, i didnt hear any bass and the crowd was also very weak. L and B were alot better at nerve. But Prive was going off. the sound in the house section was awesum and pounding. i really would have preferred layo and bushwacka to have played upstairs.
