nourishment
Today is the day that I get to change my phone plan and keep my number. So let's have it. Who likes their service, hates their service and why?I can't wait to get away from Ntelos. I'm not sure y'all have them up in the DC area, but their customer service has got to be the worst in the business. Thanks.

crank47
verizon since '96 or '97. cost a little more, but they have the best coverage. used it all over the country and have never had a problem. not a great selection of phones though. lena1279
I have t-mobile. I did hear some people complain about it, but it works for me - also use it all over the US and Canada and never had a problem.

teriaki
love my sprint phone. great coverage (they've made HUGE progress, esp. in this area) and crystal clear call quality. (Wow... talk about alliteration.)
vicman
sprint. i've never had problems with it, even with my 1980's cell phone, i've got nothing to complain about. i had more probelms with AT&T when I had it 3 years ago.
jamiroguy1
at&t. no problems yet, although after seeing teriaki's phone it makes mine look like a bravo plus.

funks0ul
I have sprint now, it's alright, had better service when I was with at&t, but their plans were ripping me off, so now I got sprint... sick of my phone already cause the majority of sprint phones are flips, and don't like flips... but oh well... funkyfreshdc
what kinda phone does teriaki have?i chose t-mobile b/c they had the S105 and would unlock it for me for free.my contract is up in january so either i'm ebaying this sucker or keeping it for trips to europe.service in downtown DC and NYC has been great for me.it works fine along the highway between NY/DC and gets signal for most of the ride on amtrak.verizon is best outside of metropolitan areas. scruffe
Since I live in the DC area, work in Richmond area, and go to school in blacksburg, Suncom (AT&T) was the best for me. Service has been great. I'll be switching to AT&T though to get more minutes for the same price and a 703 number. Verizon was a competitor for me in terms of coverage but around VaTech my friends get an echo whenever they talk. The other thing about verizon is that they don't carry phones with internal antennas. My girl did get coverage in a weird back town about 35 or so miles south east of Richmond when i didn't. But that was it.I guess it's just about where you're at cause my boy that goes to Maryland says Sprint is the best there.Oh yeah and picking a good phone is important too. Strudiness, reception etc.I got a test. If the phone doesn't fit in my jeans 5th pocket, I don't want it.
