billygoat
Yo,First of all, DT and DJ Vibe were sick on Friday night. Saw a lot of great people there too. Awesome crowd, sick music, long long set all made for a fantastic night. At one point around like 5 or 6am DT spun a tune he said was a Jonathan Peters mix, it was right before "white rabbit" and it was also featured in MTV's "Real Life: I'm a Clubber" Does anyone know what this song is and where I can find it? Absolutely sick tune! Please anyone that can help it would be hugely appreciated!!!Thanks,Billygoat!

ghhhhhost
its "going thru it" mixed with another track.just to add my 2cents. whoever thought that nite was "SICK" or that the crowd was "AWESOME" must be blind and tone-deaf.first of all..if you're gona call it classics..HEY HOW ABOUT U PLAY A CLASSIC....going thru it..safe from harm...milkshake(!!?!?!?) are not classics. i love danny tenaglia..he's prolly my #1 DJ but that shit was horrible. Vibe actually played Fired Up....thats about the only true classic i heard. i was so fuckin dissapointed i left @ 7am...and this sux cause i was sooooooooo hyped to hear danny drop some mo'fuckin classics...but ofcourse...just like the past couple of times he dissapointed me. both dj's let the tracks drag on....like they were lookin for a piece of vinyl the whole time...it gets a wee bit monotonous after a while . there were hardly any highs or lows. as for the crowd...dont even get me started on that shit. Factory regulars i bumped into that night hated the crowd...so u cant blame it on the Factory kids...it was just a rude ass horrible tone deaf crowd. as a matter of fact as Vibe was bringing in "Fired Up" i think me and 10 other people there recognized the track ...its funny....maybe what i consider "classics" is just "mad old shit" now... Vibe actually playe quite a few classics, cant remember most of them, but Fired up and RObbie RIvera - Feel This do come to mind. Also, I hate classics parties more then most people, but the theme WAS classics of the past, present, and future.as for the crowd...dont even get me started on that shit. afa8317
Did anyone make it out on thanksgiving morning? I thought DT was great and Vibe impressed me very much. That was one great night. I am not a fan of the "new" DT crowd. I am a big fan of DT. In my book he is number 1. I try and make it out at least once a month to his party. Anyway I heard from many people that classics was not that great. But two nights before that DT kicked ass. The man was on fire the crowed was actually into it like the old days. The crowd was Jumping, Clapping and Smiling. All i can say is that was one great party. Some people need to learn to let loose and enjoy the night. I cant stand the people that just stand around trying to look good.

dkny8
DT was better on Thanksgiving Eve, but still good sets from Vibe and DT. And I don't know what some of you are talking about, there were plenty of classics played. FYI, Safe From Harm while it might be played out, was a track DT used to drop every week for quite a long time and was a major crowd pleaser, so in that sense it’s a “Classicâ€. Same goes for many of the tracks he dropped. For some of the tracks especially early on in the night you had to go wayyy back to the Paradise Garage days to know what the tracks were, many of which were soulful house and disco tracks. This is some of what I remember being played that night.Twinstyle – BatusalsaRobbie Rivera – Feel ThisUnderground Sound of Lisbon - So Get UpHatiras – Spaced InvaderPaul Jays – Spiritual BatteryEric Kupper - K-ScopeHouse Of Gypsies – Sum Say HighMAW – The Ha SongNarcotic Thrust – Safe from HarmSaints and Sinners – Pushin too HardSilicone Soul – Right OnVernessa Mitchell – Reap (Vasquez)AVB – Sound of Goodbye (Rivera)Eurythmics - Sweet DreamsUnderworld – Two Months OffU2 - Silver & GoldLNR –Work it to the BoneKelis - Milkshake (X-Press 2)Always Remember To Respect And Honor Your Mother - Part One (Deep Dish)Depeche Mode - Dream OnDJ Dozia – WorkCreamer & K – Forget the WorldDepeche Mode – I Feel LovedCeleda – Be YourselfDubtribe Sound System - Do It NowLithium - Deep Jungle (Deepest Jungle Mix)Nat Monday - Waiting (Creamer & K)Yaz – Don’t GoBen Shaw feat Adele Holmes – So Strong (Sander K Mix)MK – BurningKult of Krameria – Voodoo Doll (MAJOR, MAJOR BOMB)DB Boulevard - Point of ViewMonica – So Gone (Scumfrog Dub)Evolution feat Jayn Hanna – Walking on FireGreg O – The DrillGoldtrix – TrippinDT – ElementsDT - Bottom HeavyOctave One – Blackwater (DT Edit)Free Your Mind
billb
yeah no "classics", but that's because DT posted a side note on his board explaining that he was not going to do a paradise garage theme party. instead play tracks from the early vinyl days with a mix of tunnel and twilo tracks.put aside the early "classics" for a specific special event night.new generation, there are now new "classics".i personally loved the night because those were the tracks that introduced me to house music, it was great hearing them again. ghhhhhost
to be honest i was there from 3-7am and i remember hearing a some of the songs u listed but it def. didnt feel like classics. as for the soulful house? ...when was that? i was there when he was droppin goin thru it..the depeche remix..i was there for vibe's mini set...blackwater...2 mths off..but it def. wasnt what i expected. maybe like i said..what i consider classics are just really old stuff now..im pissed i missed So Strong..thats like one of my fav tracksthere was one point in the time i was there when he got so hard that i was like GOD DAMN THIS AINT CLASSICS.... silverbull
I was there from 1230 till closin. From the moment i got there until around when he played KINGS OF TOMORROW "FINALLY" (GREAT SONG) there was nothing but a shit load of classics that im sure people didnt know anything about. Ive been listening to HOUSE MUSIC for 14 yrs now and it was amazing to hear songs that i wasnt able to dance at clubs at the time of their relase. Perfect examples of this were "ROCKIN MUSIC" by BLUNTED DUMMIES, "TEARS" by SATOSHI TOMMIE, BONUS BEATS from "DANCE" by earth people if you have the actual VINYL then you know what i mean. Alot of 80s and 70 songs earlier on. Right b4 closin he even dropped a track from 74 and it was amazing. All in all i thought it was a great night of some LD CLASSICS with some NEW CLASSICS. But i cant wait for DANNY to play nothing but OLD CLASSICS one day. That will hopefully school all the mindless sheep that are on these boards. WoW GHHHHOST in the same room with me at the same time how interesting. And goin thru it is a terrible song in my opinion. It only appeals to "CERTAIN TYPES OF PEOPLE"

keg33
I have to agree, I was there from about 6-8, and those were definitely NOT CLASSICS... I've heard Danny throw down many, many a classic on regular nights, We all know that he loves them so where the hell were they on "CLASSICS NIGHT"????? Anyway one of the best weekends in there has got to be Memorial day of last summer it was slamming on Friday with Danny and then on Saturday with Saeed and Palash anyone agree.. There is a song that Danny played twice that weekend it sounds very new, can't find it anywhere very distinguished male vocals, but a little mysterious, I know that's not a lot to go by but ya never know (anyone)? it has a VERY CATCHY WAY ABOUT IT>>> sort of spacy thanks

Definitley up therre with John Creamer & Stephane K, Scumfrog, DJ VIbe, and Low End Specialists @ Maze last year.Although the vibe at arc memorial day was unbeatable.
