I am a big suporter of your club so far and reccomend it to everyone on this board. I love the interior of ICE because it is the only club with a big room feel that seems semi-commited to bring in good music.

I am also impressed with the direction you guys are headed in w/ your DJ lineup for Saturday nights for April and May. This is exactly what this scene needs. Vegas is a great place to party, but the one thing that is pretty much know about us nationwide from other clubgoers is that this isn't a place for good dance music. Although its only a rumor, I hear the Spundae party will soon be leaving Risque and heading your way, which is honestly the best thing that could happen for you guys. Pick up where they left off (consistantly bring in top notch DJ's) and I am sure this will be the most talked about Saturday party, because right now there is no competition.

Keep up the good work because your the only place around to get excited about!

P.S. Bring back Jonathan Peters for the Sunday of Memorial Weekend - he spins in Vegas every year on that night. The Halloween party was your best yet and that party will be jammed with all the NY & NJ people heading here

May 6th Ice's website says Dave Christian will be spinning "the best in house, commercial, and dance." This is sort of a wild card to me. I'm not familiar with Mr. Dave Christian so if i go am i going to hear Sandstorm and Alice Deejay? Someone give me the heads up before its too late.

Hello, for those of you who do not want to spend 2 hours in line, $ 40 just to get in the door and at least $150 just to sit, come to The Beach! It's off the Strip, but let me tell you... As the oldest standing nightclub in town it holds it's own.

The Beach is not for you if you want to stand around and watch.

Body shots, beer bong races, beer tub girls in thongs, need I say more. The Beach has the Mexico/Spring break type atmosphere, and it's The Place To Party.

Lines can get pretty long, but you can get on the VIP list by checking out www.beachlv.com

If you want a "PARTY" Don’t go stand around some ULTRA LOUNGE.

Come to The Beach.

Money and a nice venue don't make a good club.......its the vibe and the crowd.....

Ice looks nice, but thats it.....and sure, it has big name DJs, but the problem is that DJs play sets for the crowds at the place they are......so what you get here isn't necessarily what they would play in Europe.....

Ice has potential, its trying to be the new C2K or Utopia, but has a very long way to go before the vibe is there......I went to Ice once, and it turned me off right away.....but thats just me......

Novice clubbers are easily pleased, but those of us who know the scene......well.....

Im going to have to agree with K10, ICE is a tight venue, and with people like Spundae and Godskitchen droppin events there, you know the parties are only going to get better. Your right it is the music and the people that make the vibe, but its the clubs that give you a place to party, a place to meet new people. Clubs are a business NO MONEY = NO BUSINESS = NO phatty shows in Las Vegas!! Support the the nightclub industry whether your a novice or some of us that have been in this business for a long time. The reason we go out is to have a good time, the reason some of us devote our lifes to this business, is because we love showing people a good time.

Thats exactly the problem.....clubs here are too much of a business......don't kid yourself, its not some guy who cares about clubbing and is a former clubber trying to give something to the scene.....we're dealing with corporations just trying to find a new niche to rip people off.....

At age 28, having been in the scene since I was 14....and having lived in Europe, vs LV now(fortunately a temporary stay) I see a huge difference in the way clubs are run, who runs them, and what the ultimate goal of each is.....

Take advantage of the clubs in LV as much as you can........comps, free nights, whatever.......

Reading so much hype on this message board about not getting in or whatever......check out the crowds in the clubs here, they let ANYONE in! Don't fall for the hype......so far I've hardly ever had to pay to get in anywhere.....the few times I have paid it definitely hasn't been worth it......

I don't know where you people are visiting from, but I guess you haven't had a real club experience before! Sorry......tourists make me edgy.....

being a dj from nyc i was out in lv in march i didnt hit up ice mainly because i didnt know about it........went to a shit load of other clubs and i was disappointed in the music..........no real good dance music at all, drai's has the best and it still was sub par to what i was expecting, then again it is a tourist site so i guess it really doesnt matter most ppl arent gonna leave.......and for the beach? i made the mistake of ending up there one night.........had to b the worst hour of my life, tons of fat chicks, toilet paper is apparently the decaration of choice there, i took a head count and there was 16ppl there..............few places i went that were nice was venus, rain, ghost bar woulda been nice if there wasnt 9million ppl there, ra was ok but i guess weds isnt house music night it was like old 80's rap night, bikini's had the hottest chicks thats because they hire like super models for barteners but the rest of the crowd was so so, was told foundation room mondays was good but the line was ridic and the crowd on the line didnt look too good.....................my boy spins out there memorial day at glo i beleave, wanna go out and see if i can get a guest spot out there sometime in the future...........and i dont think jonathan is spinnin out there memorial day cuz i know the ppl who book the parties and i havent heard anything about it usually by now flyers would b out

Jonhenry.......

You're pretty much on the mark.....

GLO is held at Ibiza USA.....however, that club is closed for remodelling, I'm not sure if it will be ready by the memorial day weekend......but then maybe glo will be held at some other venue....its a good party, but has had trouble gaining a permanent venue......

If you want to hear some local DJ talent, and hear better music than at the touristy clubs you have to either go to some of the smaller events......or the gay clubs.

Double Down Saloon on Monday nights.

Mayan Grill on Saturday nights....

SRO on Saturday nights......go to the backroom though, its a Latin Rock night but the DJ is pretty good and mixes in a lot of hard floor......

House of Brews.....haven't been in a while so I'm not sure if the event is still going on, but they had local DJs spinning on Wednesday nights.....

TJs.....at the Imperial Palace, the club is nothing special, but the DJ has talent.....

The gay clubs.......

Freezone, after 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays the DJ spins contemporary European club music......the later you go, the more underground it gets and the more mixed the crowd......after 3 am on Saturday night......mmmmm so technically Sunday morning, is the best time to check it out.

The Beach has really hot chicks at times.......it just depends, its a hit or miss situation.

The best time to hit the clubs on the Strip is during the week rather than the weekend....its less touristy.....

Studio 54 on Tuesdays, after 1 am.....

Rain on Thursdays, depending on the DJ....

Old dj from chicago....just like you new york guys, we're very critical of the stuff we listen to when we go to other cities. places i've been to in vegas:

Rain: awesome setup, music is brutal. how much hip-hop can you

stand? long line.

Ra: GOOD music, but they changed wednesdays. best sound

system in vegas when i was there.

54: this place is hit or miss. definitely aimed at tourists. music isn't

good, i guess it could be worse.

Ghost Bar: Nice view from up top. no place to dance. unless you

have a table, expect to be bumping into people and

spilling your drink. very crowded. long line

Bikini's: Don't waste your time. Walked in, walked out.

Light: One big room. dance floor isn't very big. music is ok. didn't

turn me off. dj was good. drinks weren't as pricey as i

thought they'd be.

Baby's: 2 rooms. one hip-hop, the other house. Closed for

remodeling last i heard

there's other places of course. have yet to make it out to curve, rum jungle, drai's and risque, tabu. ice wasn't open last time i went. oh well. 23 days and counting!!!
