kutekimee Posted June 14 Report Share Posted June 14 ive been to disco many times and never really had to wait TOO long in line, then again i'm a girl and im either goin in by myself or w/ other girls so that tends to be easier lol. i got there at around 8 and there were maybe 10 guys on line and we were all in w/i 5 minutes i'd say. i never really had any gripes w/ the ppl there, security n door n watnot...but doesnt sound like u had a very good time of it- least @ the door hey shaegodiva...what were you wearing? i'm curious if i saw you there. did you have fun? ras67 Posted June 14 Report Share Posted June 14 listen .. i have been going to clubs for more than 15 years .. and i am regular in many clubs .. but you know i would never use my status to cut in front of the line or get in before people who are already waiting .. that is just plain respect for other people's time and presence .. i wont do it and will never do it ..for real? if you showed up somewhere and there was a line of 100 people and someone asked if you wanted to go ahead in... would you ACTUALLY say no, thanks anyways, but these people got here first?? props to you if that is the case... definitely something to be said about being noble... but in a case like this i would definitely walk right into the club!!!! As far As Erick's set it was great but every hard. Which I understand it was an after hours party. I found his set at Deko lounge on Thursday to be funkier and deeper. OK i've bit my toungle long enough, its not just disco EVERY CLUB in any state, anywhere does the same shit. Case in point, for probably a year back in the day i used to work at exit, now on my off nites if i was gonna go there with a few of my friends, we'd all walk up and go right in and never wait on the line that was down to the west side highway, why should I if I dont have to? You talk about respecting other time, well it happens all the time buddy, go to DMV one day and watch all the car dealers walk right in and go get their stuff done in 10 minutes while you spend 2 hours, or go to a restaurant where somebody knows the hostess and watch them get seated before you do, its just the way life works, you win some and you loose some, just come to accept it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
