I would have to say that I would be there for him just as I would hope he would be there for me. I couldn't begin to imagine the psychological damage that it must to a man - laughing at him would not be appropriate at all. Put yourselves in the other person's position that is violating regardless, yeah it's a bit more rare for men to be raped or maybe its just less talked about.
