clubbingirl
So when you want to reach for that extra slice of pizza...Or when you don't feel like putting on your sneakers for a run...Or when you're just plan tired...WHATS YOUR MOTIVATION TO KEEP YOU ACTIVE & DIETING?mine is just to make a schedule and have no if/ands/buts about it. LogiKandReasoN
I don't want to be called a disgusting fatty by a bunch of clueless idiots. That could have something to do with it. Actually, I think that's most peoples' movtivation for it. Healthy living, more often than not, is a secondary goal.
clubbingirl
lol, yeah that too. the reason why i ask is b/c i'll follow my routine/discipline for a while, then make an exception one time- then its all down hill and i have to start all over again.dammit. labellany
My motivation is to not be back to where I use to be. I feel like a bum if I dont go to the gym everyday. The gym is my drug
nycguy420
My motivation is that I never want to be skinny again. I like having muscles and good definition. It's amazing what a nice body can do for your confidence level. If I don't work out for a couple of days I feel lazy and sluggish, my mind even seems to work a little slower when I don't work out for a while. But, after I go to the gym I feel like a million bucks. I'm all energized, my muscles are filled with blood, a great overall feeling. Working out has to be the single most influential things I could have done to change my life around.

ovrdose
yea i just realized that recently too, that for like an hour and a half you get to get away from all your daily shit and just do your thing for a while. once you get into a groove it just becomes a part of your daily routine, i can't even think of not going, it's like something you have to do like going to work or school.that and getting out of the shower and seeing muscle and cuts, no slice of pizza is worth that satisfaction. Orisha
On the treadmill, I chase after my-imaginary-self ...in a size 3 the rest of the time I yell at myself like a drill instuctor, "harder, faster, better!!"It's turning down my BF wanting to take me out to eat or make me his awesome Cajun cooking, that's where I need to be motivated--to eat less... bullseye
my motivation is/are the comments that i get about my body, in addition to the physical edge you give yourself. when she says she wants my body, it all pays off.
thehunk
My motivations are all those women that make nice comments about how rock hard is my body. I simply have no problem to find great looking women when I maintain my look.
mssabina
a little late on this but i'll answer anyway... what keeps me motivated is my desire to feel healthy and look good... nothing better than being satisfied with what you see in the mirror... plus, once you start eating well and working out on a regular basis, it becomes a habit, a part of your lifestyle... and like someone mentioned, working out & running is my time to destress and sort through things on my mind...
mssabina
i forgot to mention something else... if you need something to boost up your motivation, set a few (realistic) goals and reward yourself when you reach them... i'm treating myself to a hot lil bikini or two when i complete mine
