whats your motivation

My motivation is that I never want to be skinny again. I like having muscles and good definition. It's amazing what a nice body can do for your confidence level. If I don't work out for a couple of days I feel lazy and sluggish, my mind even seems to work a little slower when I don't work out for a while. But, after I go to the gym I feel like a million bucks. I'm all energized, my muscles are filled with blood, a great overall feeling. Working out has to be the single most influential things I could have done to change my life around.

yea i just realized that recently too, that for like an hour and a half you get to get away from all your daily shit and just do your thing for a while. once you get into a groove it just becomes a part of your daily routine, i can't even think of not going, it's like something you have to do like going to work or school.

that and getting out of the shower and seeing muscle and cuts, no slice of pizza is worth that satisfaction.

On the treadmill, I chase after my-imaginary-self ...in a size 3 :bounce: the rest of the time I yell at myself like a drill instuctor, "harder, faster, better!!"

It's turning down my BF wanting to take me out to eat or make me his awesome Cajun cooking, that's where I need to be motivated--to eat less...

my motivation, how wack and corney it may seem is seaside and the girls at seaside.........everytime i go down there in the summer, all i see is those hot ass girls all over guys that are all cut up and built up and don't even look that good.........everytime i don't feel like going to the gym i think back to the summer and the girls all over those guys

who knows, one day it might be me there all over :makeout:

a little late on this but i'll answer anyway... what keeps me motivated is my desire to feel healthy and look good... nothing better than being satisfied with what you see in the mirror... plus, once you start eating well and working out on a regular basis, it becomes a habit, a part of your lifestyle... and like someone mentioned, working out & running is my time to destress and sort through things on my mind...
