It's natural for me to be critical when I don't hear a set that I'd expect from a DJ. That doesn't mean, however, that I can't have a good time even when the DJ is abominable. If I pay 30 to hear some one spin, I better see him work ever single track. Thats like going to a concert and watching the band lip sync. You feel cheated. Sander that night was off and way off. The little time I was there he train wrecked a few mixes. The only thing I could see him do in the booth was knock back Heinekens. Then the crowd at Crobar didn't help either. Half of them were standing around talking; the other half were staring at the porn on the video screens. I guess I should have known better Mega clubs are Dead in New York. I know the place was packed but most of the crowd was out for Crobar not the party. Maybe I am just jaded because I have been lucky enough to experience what a true VIBE is. dragon0401 Posted January 4 Report Share Posted January 4 afa ... crobar is not famous for hard core dancers .. and u should know that by now .. but as a club .. it is doing pretty good .. bringing good DJs and being freindly to people .. crowd never bothered me .. when we want to dance we make room ... somtimes it is not that possible but most of the time people will move back when they see someone getting really down .. in any case .. dont go to big clubs looking for good dancers .. that has been my experience .. small clubs, underground style are better off in that regard .. peacethe MASK Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
