For convenience, we planned to just stay at the hotel and go to Studio 64 and Tabu for my late night fun. However, after reading some of the threads here I am concerned that I may be wasting my time. Is Studio 54 THAT bad? We are mid-30's professional couple hoping to have some "out-of-town" fun. We don't normally have a chance to frequent clubs and simply want to have a good time.If Studio 54 is not a decent choice, is there somewhere else within walking distance of MGM that we should consider?Thanks for your help. BillLe Posted January 18 Report Share Posted January 18 54 isn't that bad. I just personally don't have fun there. I think Tuesday at MGM is cool. For $20 bucks pays your ay into all three venues. Again, we are not really "clubbers", but I don't want to waste my first trip to LV AND a couple of nights out without having to worry about the kids.Any alternatives you might recommend? I wasn't around then but i guarantee it was different..You are going to VEGAS get the full expierience,, go to a cirque du soliel show and then go to ICE you will have a blast.. even if you don't go to clubs you can chill and see what clublife is about.. I think it is a okay spot for those who are not into the whole club scene, but then again why go to Vegas and enjoy the best of what Vegas has to offer.For those who are not really clubbers I would suggest Tangerine or some spot with a similar vibe. I agree, it's hard to push a non-clubber to Ice as Ice is the only clubber's club here in Vegas.54 still does there tues, but now all the clubs at MGM has gotten in on the Tues. Now if you pat admission into one of there venues (54, Tabu, and Teatro) you get a stamp that gets you into all the other venues. The only reason I would recommend 54 on Tues, is because you'll end up at Tabu and Teatro for their late night. My good friends work at Tabu and Teatro. One is a hostess at Tabu and the other is the lead hostess at Teatro.But Pure on Tuesday is throwing up some stiff competition for Tues.
