marcid21
My mom got re-married and had a beach wedding. My step brothers all wore white linen pants and a light weight s/slv flowing button down shirt. Theirs were different tropical prints, because that's what my mom wanted...but I'd keep it simple if you're just a guest.

elevatedflow
I just went to a beach wedding. Blazer comfortable shirt shoes and slacks. Other people were wearing suits. The reception was indoors though so, i guess it wasnt that bad altogether. During the wedding though, that was rough..

lalate
Dear Beachbound Boston:The proper ettitqute for attire for a male when attending a beach wedding is attire that respects the wishes for the groom and bride to be one with the sea for their wedding day. Shorts are disrespectful. Best, a soft white linen button down shirt free flowing, long white jeans or soft cream color pants, no shoes, rolled up to thigh length. No saddles. And no footsey games in the sand with the brides maids.mr. ettitqute
stymie
Shorts are disrespectful. right, especially when the bride and groom tell you to wear shorts.
