Looking for house-oriented music with a cool vibe. No hip hop. I know of Ice and Empire this weekend but was looking for more options.....I just dont want to make a mistake and go to a place on an off night. vegasbabie Posted February 16 Report Share Posted February 16 The best place for house music is: Foundation Room on Mondays, DJ Keith Evans and friends always spinns the best house music, and it'll be all house all night long.Tabu Saturday: DJ Jose 2 Hype & Digital boy and weekly guest djs always spinn the best of deep and funky house all night long.Pure: on the patio it's all house.Firefly on Wednesdays (3900 Paradise Rd.): This is a great place to chill with some of the best house music. They have great spanish food too.Tao's Lounge on Thursdays, Friday, Saturday: Great house music from 9 to close.VooDoo Lounge on Thursdays: DJ Joey Mazzola spinning the best of house music all night long. DJ Sneak is going to be there for Utopia parties so it's a great night to go on the 17th.Soul Kitchen (3101 W Sahara Ave) on thursdays: House music all night long.E.R. on Sundays: Open table, you might find someone playing good house music there.The ones in bold are my favorite....so....take your pic, we've got a lot of house music happening in Vegas. Digital Boy and Sien Pileggi play at Teatro Night Club inside the MGM Grand on Wednesday Thursday and Saturday.. On these nights we play harder dance house.. and Electro House.. . nice banging driving beats with jamming vocals..some Tribal and Funky house.. and if its late enough.. sneak in a little progressive Tribal.. Thursday nights and Saturday nights have been our best, and we play really hard on those nights.. This Thursday the 16th will be the last thursday we do . and will stick to Saturday nights after this week..None of the FU FU house or down tempo or deep house. Nothing against them.. but not fast enough or danceable for me.. SEAMLESS stripclub.. by the Orleans Casino. has been holding it down for the hardcord afterafter hours crowd..They have local DJ's throwing down from about 3am til about noon from Thur - Monday.. Blah!!!!I read that as "foo-foo house," which is what some of my friends say to refer to that weak, implying weak Euro-house (or whatever you want to call it) laden with heavy highs and casio-like synth tones, the really poppy sounding crap that usually winds up in TV commercials, movies and Britney songs. Think Kylie Minogue, the Magic Bus, Fanta girls. Since you seem to be someone who respects good funk and soul, I'm going to assume that's not what you're referring to.
