for a bachelor party....We are from NY and staying at the Hard Rock...my lineup looks something liek this:

Thursday: maybe voodoo lounge, then Tryst

Fri: Skybox @ Rain (even thought alot of people on here dotn liek this club it seems)

Sat: Pure

Sun: Rehab, Body English

What afterhours are the best on which night?

Personally I liek house music, but most of the peopel im goign with liek hip-hop better i guess. I would like to try and hit Tao/Jet--but i dont know if this is possible....which clubs play house--either thru a seperate room or mix it in?

Thanks

In order to tell you options, it would be helpful to know how many males will be in your party. Some venues get picky about taking care of large groups of males, but exceptions can be made. The top afterhours spots in Las Vegas at this time are Empire Ballroom and Seamless. Both are great, but the classification of "best" would depend on the type of vibe you like.

Between Jet and Tao, we always send clients to Tao based on the vibe of the venue. Jet has 3 rooms and plays 3 types of music, but is very crowded and upscale. Tao also has multiple rooms with multiple types of music, but the vibe seems more laid back. We enjoy Tao more than the other venues in town because, even though it gets packed, there is still room to move about.

If youre bringing the basketball team (figurately), that lineup is gonna be extremely expensive. And if the purpose to the show the guy his final last free days, honestly, if you are doing that lineup without a host (whose gonna probably tell you to revise it), the poor guy is gonna spend his final free days a prison in lines.

we haev a host for Pure/Body english, and we have a skybox already paid at for rain ....not quite sure what is wrong with it....i dont really see how i culd fit tao or jet in, unless i skipped out on pure?

Like i said me personally, i like afterhour clubs--but the rest of them are just into whatever....

is there and BS with the lines at empire ballroom?

Personally I'd recommend doing either Tao or Jet instead of Pure. Opinions differ on w hether Tao or Jet are more packed; I think Tao is worse than Jet, but I've never been packed in like cattle the way I have the last few times I've done Pure on a Friday/Saturday. Pure is a killer club, the roof is spectacular, but for me the crowds and overall hassle can be buzzkills.

Of course, if you're doing tables the crowd consideration may be somewhat of a moot point. You'll always have plenty of room to groove at your own table, but the main floors at all three clubs will be packed like a cattle car.

When taking a diverse group with me to do a table, here are the things that make Jet my favorite:

1. Three rooms with not only three types of music, but three different vibes.

2. Even the most novice of clubbers will go dig in the rock/mash/whatever room.

3. No matter how crowded, very quick to go room-to-room.

And then my own personal preferences:

4. Joey Mazzola on Saturdays in the house room.

5. Always room to dance in the house room, the vibe is very much pro-dancing, and the crowd is always grooving.

All that said, unless you've been to Tao in NYC, you'll be amazed at the incredible decor and layout of the place.

I haven't been to Crobar NYC in quite a while but compared to the clubbing I used to do in Boston and NYC, even the worst crowds I've run into in Vegas are not quite as bad as the words nights back east.

I'll leave the statistical experts to tell you square-footage-wise whether Tao, Jet or Pure (or even 54) is the biggest, but they're all pretty damn sizeable. Tao, Jet and Pure all have house areas; the lounge in Tao and the deck on Pure are more geared to hanging out (brighter lighting and more tables), whereas the house room at Jet is more geared to shaking that thang (darker with louder tunes).

Tryst is a gorgeous club with a beautiful people, definitely a good time, definitely worth a visit.

Hey bigmike, lets start here, a group of 16 guys, you will spend enough money at rain to kill the rest of your trip in one night, especially skybox. I would totally hit Body english, tao ,tryst or jet. Those clubs cater to large male groups. Studio 54, pure and rain i think you will be dissapointed with service you get, they dont like big groups of men, even though you pay enough.

After hours drais, and empire are kicken, seamless is good to if you like to check out half naked women running around. Also hooters is starting a sunday party at casino, maybe worth checking out, dont have much info on it yet, but will by the end of today.

How does B.E., Tao, Tryst and Jet cater to large male groups?

lol... I was just about to ask the same question. Aren't these the venues that won't accept large groups of guys unless they're spending money? In most cases, Body English and Tao won't even accept large groups of guys for table reservations.

well i guess it shows you the power of connections. This last week i had 24 guys, tryst, tao, body english and jet. No issues at all. Between 6-9 bottles at each venue, and clubs where begging for their biz. you need to know either gm's of a club or someone other than a host at a club.

I have the most trouble at 54,rain, ice, and pure.

One of my closest friends ... big clubgoer ... and helped (ee) open a new spot in Vegas a few weeks ago talked to me about where to go. She said she was going to go to Rain. We both laughed cuz Rain is not her style.

Gotta say - she said she had an absolute blastttttttt.

In regards to the comment about "killing the trip" on one expensive night ... its personaly something I wouldnt do nor professionally recommend either YET I would say that the vast majority of clubgoers that vacation in most major cities tend to do it that way - very big one night and slower or play it by ear the other nights.

Tryst and Tao are both good on Thursday. If you are going with friends, I would suggest Tao. If you are going with some females who you want to impress and set a mood, I would suggest Tryst.
