HAZE Posted May 3 Report Share Posted May 3 A few months ago, I had jury duty and while I was in the court room, I'm sitting and listening to everyone getting sworn in. They make them put their hand over the bible and say "Do you swear to tell the truth, so help you God?"OK, I'm Catholic so I have no problem with this, but if I was Muslim or another religion, I WOULD NOT want to have to do that.All this seperation of Church and State shit with the statue of the 10 Commandments in AL and no more saying the plege of allegiance in schools, yet people still have to swear on a Bible and it still says "In God We Trust" on our money.
