abrooksbro
thank u! thanks for saying people are going to remember me when i'm long gone. granted i'm not going to pour draino down someone's mouth but still, in the same aspect, it's nice to know i'll be remembered as opposed to you where i doubt people even notice you when they walk bydude, you are insignificant, don't forget that. computerjockey
dude, you are insignificant, don't forget that.ok test time: go to FL, find someone who went out there in the house scene in the early 90's and say "michael from simon's" - if i'm so "insig" then i don't think they'd remember who i am..as for now - i guess the smithsonian wanting my club photo's is just a museum filled with a bunch of insig BS... computerjockey
That's a great argument, huge nerd because I don't like going to shitty places. Is that the best you could come up with using your GED level education?no jerk-off - i think you're a nerd because my instincts tell me so... i'm still waiting for you to post a pic because i can tell you right now this bullshite about you getting into places most other people can't is a crock of shite. i'm thinking asian guy here who's too fat to get a date.... computerjockey
and thinks he is the hottest thing in the scene since Michael Alig...that's too funny because, yeah you fuck, i am the hottest thing in the scene since michael alig. i hardly have to debate this point with someone like u. if you don't believe me go take a look at my myspage (which is getting close to 14,000 hits) or my other site which gets 1,000 views a day.... my pics are fuckin hotter then anything michael alig ever produced. i know exactly the influence i had at Simon's, a club that was voted by more then 1/2 of the int'l DJ's as the best club to spin at in the WORLD in '94, and i'm having the same exact effect, albiet pics instead of music, in this scene. it's just too bad NYC is so tired i felt like i had to take 10 years off. and to be honest with you i'm about ready to give it up becasue it's the same fucking tired scene it was 15 years ago that couldn't give two fucks about music. Or am I missing something?
silverbull
I think a Brooksbro has a big misconception of the hosue music scene first by calling it Techno and saying everyone is on e. 2nd this culture has become a career for many artists so you cant call it insignifcant.Look you have your world and places you like to go to thats find, but the bottom line is palces that you liek come and go every few months. People only go to those places when their "HOT" whatever the fuck that means. So the same peopel bounce around ormplace to place thinkin their something important. Being able to say i was hanging out at such and such club and spent this muhc money on a bottle with music i can hear on the radio of from the next place to me is pathetic. But thats the way the world is made up of some people are about the newest collest scnene while others are about the community within the space and the music played by the dj and the global culture of it.For example lets take 2 clubs that opened in 1977.STUDIO 54- Big celebrity hang out spot the "hottest" club of its time (for people who are into that shit) very tough door, a bit prentious, lasted 2yrs. No one really gave a fuck about the music regular commerical disco hits were played and most people cant even name the damn dj, pathetic. The PARADISE GARAGE- 1977-1987 a musically driven club that was the complete opposite of the studio mentality. People went there for the music and the dj. It was a family that still party hard today at various parties. Some of us have spent time at those BOTTLES N MODELS, PRANCERS NON DANCERS places and we know at least i know its boring and ugly to see peoplethink their important cause thier at that spot. Lots of attractive people for sure, but again thats part of the superficial mentality of that scene.
silverbull
Just so I can try and wrap my head around this, you are in your late 30's or early 40's you go out to clubs all the time to dance and be into the music and you don't think you are a complete failure / joke? Or am I missing something?Yeah you did miss something. this is a global culture and people have careers in this lifestlye. And who says if your in your 30s,40,50s,60s you cant go to a club whats wrong with that? Oh yeah people like you thinkin the hottest rendiest spots are for 20yrs old only. Or am I missing something?um no - i have a degree from NYU (made straight A's in the 3 years i went full time there), i worked at sony music for over 10 years doing the most advanced flash websites and cd-roms so even tho i've been going out for a year i hardly think you can call me a failure esp seeing i'm now the biggest club photographer in the world pretty much. but then again i guess all those that make it into the smithsonian are nothing but failures.retard u r

I could care less about the music, because as I keep telling you, I go out mainly to have fun, and bring someone home. If my goal is to bring someone home, I obviously want to go to the places with the most attractive crowds. As for you saying the hot places only last a few months, I wish it was still like that, my whole complaint is that there haven't been enough new hot places opening and the old ones are not so much stagnant, it's just tiring to go to the same place all the time, I want variety

You avoid the ugly scene/crowd at the clubs your bored of. By turning on teh radio you will hear the smae songs from those places, and since you got money to throw around pick and choose a variety of ladies. Or i suggest you come to CIELO on sat feb 3rd for Dj Tedd Patterson. That party has a mixture of people like you people like myself who live and breathe this and regular people lol. Check it out you just might like it.
