Too many jackasses acting like they're in a real club. Everyone was like 12 (no offense to the younger clubbers here, I'm sure you carry yourselves better than these people) and they acted it too! We were in the VIP area, big fuckin deal (I told my b/f they should put a stamp on your forehead that says "I got ripped off for an extra $20" as you walk into the VIP area). All that got me was a fuckin' headache. Then, when I went to the bar for a drink, towards the end of my nightmare, the bouncer at the VIP area tells me "If you go down you can't come back up". Are you fucking kidding me!! I can't get a goddamn $7 fuckin drink so these assholes who run this hellhole can give you a paycheck???? So, I saw a bottle of champagne...and drank. Don't know whose it was but didn't really give a shit at that point. My friend said that someone was looking at me (I guess one of the grandmaster pimpdaddys of this sad excuse for a nightspot) and he apparently didn't like what I was doing. Well, I didn't like the fact that I was ripped off either. Of course he didn't say a word. I hated everyone there (except the couple we came with) and was looking for someone to say something. About 15 mins. later at 3:00 we were out of there (we didn't even get into the place until 1:30, that was all I could stomach). Oh yeah, there was also a 20 min wait outside and 1/2 hour at the coat check. We were going to bring our coats in but the bouncer at the door tells us we HAVE to check them. Again, WTF!! Just trying to rip you for an extra $2.00.How I didn't get into something really bad last night I'll never know. The only problem I had was at the coat check on the way out, some guy (one of the 12 year olds) was trying to cut me and my b/f. I was closest to him so I gently "nudged" him over and said "Excuse me?" with the worst fucking attitude. It came out even nastier than expected and he says, with attitude "We just got into a fight" (meaning him and his g/f I guess). I'm sorry but he was trying to cut while I'm tring to escape Hell. I told him I didn't care what he had and pushed him out of the way. His girlfriend looked at him like he was an idiot and that was the end of it. Woooweee I was all lit up, and I'm really not like that usually. Guess it was my vodka muscles. I'm glad it all worked out, because I was a little stressed beforehand. I was entertaining out of town guests and didn't want to bomb a NYC new years on them. I went to a random house party in brooklyn (friend I knew from DC), and it turned out to be super cool. Lots of random people and it was a great vibe and everyone was very chill. And, the DJ's turned it out and kept everyone moving. There wasn't a single drunken asshole in the place. amazing on NYE! Only 1 complaint. They did the countdown at the wrong time - 5 minutes early. it was funny because everyone looked at their cellphones, which have accurate clocks (because of they are synched with the cell network) and gave a good 'ol, WTF!?!?!?! But, it was all in good fun, and we did the countdown 5 or 6 times - just to bust the chops of the poor time keepers - we needed an official time keeper of the new year.it would have been cool to rock out with some CNYC peeps, but I'll catch ya 'all on the flipside, real soon! Never made it to the door, even though we had confirmed tickets, they stopped taking people..... left and went to a bar, people were wasted, almost had a bar fight, damn drunk person jumped in my friends face... left and went to Shine..... Finally dropped and had a great time.... That almost made up for the first part of the evening.... Got home around 9:00 and fell straight into the bed....
