Name ONE single best book you have ever read.

Recommended Posts

Some people might be annoyed with yet another "non club " related topic, but many of us like to read here and books come up often...so ...name one single best book you have ever read...It can be one that has changed you the most...or one where you cried the most ....anything goes..but just ONE.

My choice as many already know is "Little Prince" that is my bible..makes me feel better everytime I read it. cwm12.gif

Great topic I think. My favorite book as of right now, is a book that SharonRegina gave me, Ender's Game. It's just great. I read the whole book in one day. I just could NOT put it down. I needed to find out what was going to happen next. Excellent read.

PS. Who cares if this subject isn't about clubbing. This site is ClubPLANET.com not JustClubbing.com. A planet has many environments and terrains. How bland would our world be if it was just a flat plain covered with wheat fields? Who says that this is just about clubs, dancing and music? cwm1.gif

..The judge said: "Son, what is your alibi? If you were somewhere else then you won't have to die." Well I said not a word. Though it meant my life, for I'd been in the arms of my best friends wife.

Duuuude your crushing my head!

Ok, this is one of those impossible questions, but I'll shoot.

For sheer impact on my life,

George Orwell's 1984.

But Catcher in the Rye was good too.... and so were so many more.

Tuck Everlasting is sooo good, Missdiva's so right..I'd almost forgotten.

My first would have to The Unbearable Lightness of Being, by Milan Kundera- you can open it to any page and gain some jewel of insight for life. To any avid readers I would also strongly recommend Infinite Jest, david forster wallace- ridiculously long, but so fucking funny and smart its worth it. take your time and enjoy the ride.

I'd have to agree -- "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card is amazing. A few others --

"Snow Crash" -- Neal Stephenson

"Neuromancer" -- William Gibson

"Flowers for Algernon" -- (i forget)

"Tuck Everlasting" -- Natalie Babbitt (maybe?)
