The best martini I ever had was at ths bar in Chicago; I asked for it very dry, and the bartendder held up the glass and whispered "vermouth" into it and that was all. The vermouth being in the same room as the gin is plenty enough, and 3 olives in the glass. And please, for the sake of drinkers everywhere, when you buy your olives, empty the brine and replace it with good gin.
