mareluna Posted February 24 Report Share Posted February 24 mareluna = sea moon in italian.. i was raised really strict sicilian and luckily, i got to visit all my relatives there, and my favorites things to watch were the stars, ocean and moon.. seeing them is just so different there.. you see layers and layers of stars, perfect silver moon that's ALWYAS out at nite.. (it's never cloudy there hehe) and the sea... I'm a dancer, and since freshman year in college I've picked up ballroom and latin dance. Well, Cha Cha was the first dance I ever competed in/ placed in and MeliChaCha became my little nickname within the team. It then became my AOL and AIM handle as a joke... Well, MeliChaCha has evolved over the past 3 years, mostly thanks to another Melissa who also called herself Meli (though she spelled it Mely) coming into my little group of friends from home... When others would say "Yeah - I'm here chilling with Meli" and were asked "which one?" they started to instinctively reply "ChaCha". Now, my bestest friends refer to me as ChaCha or (my personal favorite) Chach. hehe...
