So we ended up coming back to the city and partying at my friends hotel room for awhile, then I went with a few other friends downtown to a bar, then we were all wasted and I came up with the brilliant idea of going to afterhours at Le Souk...thinking it was Sunday...but it wasnt...so it was closed...so we tried to find some afterhours and couldn't so we went back to my place. Very fun night, tho.

I went to Movida's website- the rooftop looks great, Norah! What type of crowd do y'all draw on a sat nite? It's a GHB party, correct? How crowded does it get ? i hope im not sounding too picky here.

I know, I feel the same about APT. As for Table 50- look what they list as the music for saturdays: ---Rock, pop, heavy metal, hip hop, funk, soul, disco, house, electro--- That's a bad, bad sign. Why do b&t/straight/tourists all prefer such a terrible blend of garbage? What is wrong with everyone? Is it really palatable and exciting to go out and hear Bon Jovi followed by Britney followed by Vengaboys followed by 50 Cent? I hate being the person to figure these things out. I don't even go out that much, and when I do it's usually to a few of the same places.

Long time no see 8) So I have a wedding to go to on Saturday night. I'm coming back to the city with 10 people (inc me) from the wedding around midnight on sat night. I'm trying to figure out somewhere to go...We want somewhere beautiful, but not a scene and not full of meatheads. Somewhere not crazy or packed...and not cheesy--- the last thing I want to do is go to a wedding in Long Island then come to a venue in the city full of Long Island people. Plus I'd like the crowd to be somewhat mixed. Anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about APT, but I have no idea what a Sat. night is like there, I've really only been on a Sunday. Please help me.

im sorry pookie. but one of the reasons I haven't been going out much in nyc is to save some spending money for miami and key west. so tuesday is dead, that's fine, i want to chill our first nite anyway. and i dont particularly want to deal with drama getting into bed. we are going to go check out craig demo spin and go from there- vamos a ver- i dont particularly care how much partying goes on this week for me.

I've been to Blue with CrzyC and we had a great time- she doesn't talk to me anymore tho :-[

I'll be down this Tuesday and wed nights and leaving for Key West on Thursday late afternoon. What is there to do on a Tuesday and Wed night? Are there any parties or events that dominate these two nites ? Anyone have any recommendations?

This is a suprisingly good film. I went to the premier here in ew York and was very impressed with the production, the acting, the storyline and the balance of drama with comedy. I highly recommend it, it's a breath of fresh air to see a dance-music related film that was produced with a good budget. The scenes in Ibiza are beautiful, and will bring back fond memories for those of you who've been there. Also, the film demonstrates (in a very cool way) how DJ's mix records into eachother...the viewer can get a feel for how a DJdoes his job- which was one of my favorite aspects of the film. The lead actor is a nut and he does a great job. I actually saw him in the street later that night smoking a cig all alone, and we spoke about the film. It was his first real piece he's worked on, and he was nervous at how people might interpret his performance. I think he was fantastic! Go check it out

I'll br driving from Mami to Key West at the end of the month, and I was thinking it would be cool to rise early in Miami and stop along the way at a really nice beach or two. Are there any surreal, pristine, amazing beaches that you can recommend. I want it to be somewhere awe inspiring and special. Does this exist? If so, can you describe?

PS, you dont need to be in midtown to make it on time to a show. u just need to be on the west side. so i say west village or Chelsea. there's tons of places. where is your hotel?

We are going to Crobar that Friday for Murk and then a show on Saturday noght...other then that I have no plans. We are staying in Manhattan but I cant remember whcih hotel at the moment. im trying to decide when to drive down from miami....in the AM around 9 or in the pm around 3 or 4. I'd like to spend the day on south beach then leave for the keys from there around 3:30....but will the traffic be terrible at that time? ive driven on US 1 in the afternoon once 95 ends...it gets really slow, you think this will be the case? It will be on a Wednesday, what do you guys think is the best time to leave south beach?

haha that's funny. yes it is a sebring, and i have never seen anyone actually own the car either. I know sebrings are cheese, but whatever, im driving only 3-4 hours in it, and I look good as it is...I dont need a sportscar to compensate.

y'all live down there so i figure it's worth asking. i found a convertible with Thrifty, pick up on 13thh and collins, (or somewhere right there) drop off in key west for $52 total. perfect.
