  1. i enjoy him. the both of you together should be a good show.
  2. no can do this week, I'm flying to Hawaii thurs morning ;D :-*
  3. so funny you both mention this. Last week I was approaching women and askinng them how they tolerate such cheese from the guidos and such there...It's sooso bad! I truly feel sad for straight women there who have to endure the losers that hit on them...and the way the losers put on their moves... there are only a few places that I really can see myself frequenting these days in nyc....mainly hiro, apt, sometimes marquee or quo during the week....and some east village spots in general.
  4. On the weekend, Crobar is dominated by out of towners and guidos and such. There's no escaping it, it's hopeless. I really cant imagine walking into that club again anytime soon...I feel like Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day..." same shit over and over and over again! :-X
  5. Here is a post from another forum that sums Tiesto's show up very well. This is exactly how I feel....--- Succesfully my last time seeing Tiesto in a NYC club. I will go to Central Park and a TIC type event...but as far as these clubs - no chance. The only difference between last night and 2001 at Exit is the venue and tracks played. Same shit crowd and same packed house. Maybe i am too old but i doubt it...i think it has to do with the fact that Tiesto has attracted so many goons/juiceheads/conformists/bridge&tunnel types that simply go see Tiesto because he is plasterd all over KTU. If i wanted to see a bunch of guidos all sweaty i would go to Gold's Gym...if i wanted to see a bunch of DJ hopping whores i would use my time machine and go back to Factory and if i wanted to stand next to a bunch of dirty strangers i would take the 4 train during peak hours. I am done with Tiesto shows...plain and simple....i will leave him for the wagon hoppers...i cant stand people like last night that follow trends...i mean every fuckface had the same haircut, same cologne, same played out Abercrombie shirts and same bitchass look on their faces...friggen gets me mad. Nothing in NYC tops his show at The World in October 2001....anyone who went and remembers that tracklist will tell ya...all bangers with awesome encores...and the crowd was cool... Ugh NYC clubs disgust me now...bring back 1993 to 1999 NYC...those were the friggen days.!!!
  6. when did you ever say it the first time? You're funny
  7. you must be the "18" in 18 and over...

    Sideways

the attention to detail with wine was really cool about this movie, it was like a film and a minidocumentary on wine in one. i liked it.
  10. I do hope he doesnt start too late...i have to work the next day and want to be home at a decent hour...my body can't handle breaking night anymore...it takes too much out of me. :-X
  11. thanx i'll try to tune into this this afternoon. hope i can connect here in the office.
  12. It is threads like this one that sets the cj boards apart from all other nightlife/entertainment forums on the Internet (that I know of). Tim, does being Canadian affect or change any of these requirements, etc?
  13. hmmm....so I watched this last night, and I think it was good...i think it had lots of symbolism in it...the movie might need to be seen twice to absorb it all...themes of going back home to your roots....the people that went nowhere...facing your past and your future, wasting life, finding your purpose in life, and finding love to share while achieving your purpose. These themes are pretty played in theatre and drama outlets in general....but the movie is pretty good, though a bit simple minded in my opinion. If you want to see a groundbreaking movie that covers themes of life and purpose and love along the way, I recommend American Beauty. That's a film that deserves some of the high-praise that some of you have given to Garden State. In my opinion
  14. bro, don't drink if your depressed..just go home put on a movie and chill out bro..valentine's day is no big deal..its just another day.like any other holiday it comes and it goes.. sound advice, bro.
  15. last time i went i did a luau...it was beautiful and I had a great time. Also, last time i was there we went to volcanoes national park late at night and snuck over the fence and went pretty close to the active area--- it was amazing...our sneakers were melting the closer we got, and we found a beach area out of nowhere where we could see the lava vlowing into the ocean, hear the intense hissing sound of the lava pouring into the ocean, and there were plumes of steam flowing into the sky...quite a site..plus there were bats everywhere...i'm definitely going to do that again.
  16. hehe now AND WE WANT YOU IN NEW YORK!!! hehe...soon
  17. This event should be great. Good luck, Jason...do a good job
  18. Oh My God, Becky. :-X That place was so crowded on Fri night i stayed all of 20 minutes before hightailing it somewhere cool, sans agressive juiced-up meatheads in cheezy sunglasses. I rarely go out on weekends these days, and when I do, I dont go to places like Crobar, and this past friday reminded me why-- I'm not trying to be pesimistic or an ass here, meatheads and tourists really do ruin things and suck the cool right out of a situation. Though I did hear Puffy was there, gave a lil performance....J-Lo was milling about with Naomi Campbell (i wonder if she was uber-coked up like last wmc at Crobar Miami?) Anyway, the stage looked great and Morillo looked awesome on the stage. I like the way he moves when he spins...
  19. I'll have a table upstairs with a bunch of people. about two guys (inc me) and 11 crazy girls. Look for us! I doubt we'll be difficult to miss. I'll prob be in some sort of zip up and jeans. My name is Evan. 8)
  20. funny you should say that. i brought lava home last time i was there, and had a two big accidents shortly after i got home :-\
