  4. Need Hamptons info/suggestions for Memorial Day!!!

    Hey everyone,

    Pleeease help me! My best friend and I have never been to the Hamptons, and we both miraculously have Memorial Day weekend off from work, so we're thinking about going. We're definitely going to S&D at Twilo Friday night, but we'll probably go to the Hamptons right afterwards (sick, I know).

    We're thinking Neptune's that Saturday, then maybe CPI that night, then Sunday & Sunday night, I don't know!

    Anyway, can anyone please PLEASE give me any suggestions on what's the best way to get there, where's the best place to stay (close to clubs and not outrageously expensive) and where to GO!

  5. my late weekend review - PVD @ Twilo Friday, SF Saturday

    Whoa, cool board...

    Well, another weekend, another great time. I am soooooo glad I went to PVD on Friday, despite the persistent rumors that he wasn't gonna spin, and the fact that I was still exhausted from last weekend. I went to sleep as soon as I got home from work, then got up at 3am and went to Twilo with my best friend. We walked in to the sounds of PVD spinning... "Sexual"?! We were like, WTF, are we at Metropolis in Queens or something? Nonetheless, PVD made it good. As usual, he played soooo many favorites - too many to remember and list, but I thought I died and went to heaven when he played "Saltwater" by Chicane near the end (although it was much too short). And Xpander - ahhhh, I was like, "Sasha!!!!" But why did he go and fuck up "Everytime" at the end? That pissed me off when he played that weird ass, long version of it over some strange Lilltih Fair folkie drum beat... everyone was standing still on the dance floor, hugging each other like seniors at the last dance of the prom, which was cute at first, but Paul just kept on playing it and playing it... anyway, I can't complain, I mean it's PVD! I didn't think it was one of his best shows ever, but it was still a treat, as always.

    Saturday night, I went to SF for the 2nd week in a row. I got there around 4am and it was totally dead! That was the most empty I've ever seen it. I guess the theme was the underwear party or whatever, but judging from the crowd, it should have been "The Freaks Come Out"! I can't believe I paid $25 to be in a room with a bunch of people who I would probably move to another car if I was on the same train as them in the subway! LOL! Don't get me wrong, though, it was mad fun, as usual. No wait, the theme should have been "The Dicks Come Out" - I mean, did you see those dancers?! Damn...

    My wallet is hurtin' from pulling the double header this weekend, but I really want to go to SF again this Saturday for the "Construction Party." Oh, what will they think up next? Anyway, I hope everyone had as much fun as I did this weekend, hope to see you at SF this Saturday!

    I wanna go to CPI... I've never been to the Hamptons and my best friend and I wanna go check it out, finally... we wanna hit CPI and Neptunes for sure, any suggestions on somewhere cheap to stay that's near either/both clubs? Thanks!!!
