    UNEMPLOYMENT IS MISERABLE!!!!!!!

    anyone have any suggestions, how they got their job/good sites or places hiring....entertainment fields only....

    or, any recruiters they know are good? most are assholes!!

    Its called associative conditioning. Actually very interesting, if you have some time research it - took a bunch of psych, sociology, and environmental conditioning classes in college and you can apply it to anything in your life. Music and scent are 2 of the strongest stimuli. Theres a whole study just about how drugs influence your ability to retain and recall the past and the present - sick shit!

    BTW - scottyskribbs u just described the last 7 years of my life lol.

    5 guys in a room? woohooo lol, could get very messy smile.gif

    I worked $185 total per/person (6 nights -4ppl in the room) If you go through the hotel directly it seems to work out cheaper!

    Why are the direct flights so damn expensive? Crazy, $600.00 !!!!

    52 more days!!!!!! Im starting to live life as time between vacations!

    Brian, what prices did u get for Mandalay. Its definitely gorgeous, but the quote was exactly TWICE what the Luxor was for those days frown.gif did you go directly thru the hotel?

    2 Days home from the conference and already planning!!

    We just booked 6 nights @ LUXOR, 24 - 30th.

    Where are you guys staying?

    you forget that many of us are in/have been in the industry, have friends down there, have hookups or whatever, even did events at many of the places -- not to mention, ENJOY being in the midst of these people (even crowds of them smile.gif....I and most of the ppl i know/talked to ended up spending almost nothing and didnt have to deal with crowds/lines..sure places were packed but good packed - ppl were very cool , friendly, weather was great, nothing could ruin it...im sure miami is amazing other times (prob goign to live there part time at some point) but this was an incredible week and is a great thing for the music industry....hope it stays in miami, coudlnt imagine it anywhere else!

    Jonathan's was good but nothing unbelievable ...left at 630 for Space and walked out at 3pm.....Crazy! A little confusing for the ppl who hadnt been there (my friend continued to ask WHERE THE HELL ARE WE up until the minute we left...half the club was pitch black, the side/bathroom was BRRRIGHT and the lounge part was all red smile.gif Great mix of people - think I met every single DJ and producer I ever heard of! Danny was perfect there, no one could stop jumping around. Pretty much a really deep but FUN set with a bunch of stuff I never heard before, more classics as it got later.....I had no idea about the breakfast and at around noon stepped on a bagel and was like HUH????

    Too tired to write a full review but an amazing week. Steve I finally remembered u even in my mangled state, nice seeing u at Shadow. I could definitely live there part time, we didnt want to leave the beach - PERFECT weather every day!

  24. Anyone carry mace? aka - I'm being stalked!

    Long story not worth getting into, but wanted to know if any of you have or have ever carried mace. In a weird stalker type situation and im considering it....esp since I live in Manhattan and am wandering around at all hours.
