Hi, Read your question in the tongue piercing post about swelling and you may have gottne your answer by now but here goes... If youre going to get it done do it on a friday bc if it does swell chances are the swelling will be down a bit by monday. To avoid a big part of the swelling don't let them use a clamp on you while doing the piercing. While a clamp may make it a little easier on the piercer, it also clamps off blood flow to your tongue. When the person lets off the clamp all the blood rushes back into your tongue resulting in major swelling(sometimes). Oh well, happy piercing. deedz
