i've broken my leg, my foot, my wrist, 3 ribs, my collarbone, my jaw in two places, my cheek bone, eye socket and nasal cavity. all the face breakages were at the same time but the others were throughout the years. some were gymnastics injuries, one was a car accident....i'm just a little clumsy and fall down a lot. so, who else has been broken? oh, i forgot one big one -- my heart a few times ------------------ Boink like a bunny!!!

I'm sitting here hating this condescending asshole who came for surgery about 5 months ago and wigged out in the pre-op so he had to be transferred to a hospital to make sure he was ok. Turned out he was fine, just had a fear of the surgery, which is completely understandable....i'd be more sympathetic towards him if he wasn't such a dickhead. Anyway he's back today and he's being his usual dicky self (meanwhile there are these old people here, 80's and 90's, who are dealing with it much better). He got me to thinking if i'd behave this way if i were in his shoes and then that led me to think about whether or not i have any fears.....i really can't think of any except the usual minor ones like fear of heights and spiders...i want to know if anyone has a fear or phobia that really really affects their life??? Wow, I really hope you're ok in the long-run!! It's prob. going to be one of the hardest journeys of your life but you're going to have to stay strong. Don't be afraid to go for help - it won't make you a failure. I saw a friend lose everything she had in the world due to drugs and I'll never get over the last time I hung out with her. It was one of the most awful sights...this girl is now brain damaged and has seizures every now and then. She lost everything she ever worked hard to attain - a job on Wall Street, an apartment of her own in the city and the respect of her family. She's broken her parents' hearts and her brother is totally screwed up as a result. Just think of everything you have to lose if you continue with this habit (because the girl won't be the only loss you suffer) and think of everything you have to gain by quitting your habit. ya know, i would say i feel this way about 90% of the time which i think is pretty good in the grand scheme of things! i really don't have anything to complain about in life and it's been a while since anything really bad has happened. i guess i'm just really lucky! glad you're feeling so up sinem!! keep at it! ------------------ Boink like a bunny!!!
