  1. my friend used to have a condo in that property so i'd get to stay in miami for free. too bad he had to let it go that place is awesome. the infinity pool is even though its not on collins or ocean, it's a real quick walk to the clubs/bars. damn, if i had known they had short-term housing available, i would have booked here instead of the hotel i'm staying at
  2. i went a few years ago and things were still goin strong around 11pm (when i left the party). not too sure how long it runs though. you may want to check out the dj schedule (if possible) before you buy tix to make sure you dont miss the DJs you wanna hear
  3. i dont really like buying stuff from there. seems like whenever i do, i'll see someone in the same shirt 1/2second later. i think they're good for buying things like tee and tanks maybe, but that's about it
  4. exactly my 1st thoughts when i heard about the fingerprinting
  5. for us, getting a taxi was almost impossible at wmc 2k3, esp. on washington - anytime of the day or night. as was said earlier, its usually really nice in miami in march, so walk a bit

    visiting Chicago

and thats why i *heart* chicago i was there last summer on business, so was only able to get out to one party - lego & mark grant on a monday at red dog. awesome vibe, great music as for hotels, i stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Wacker. pretty spiffy hotel
  16. dont register unless you plan on going to most of the seminars/panals and networking your ass off during the conf. i registered one year, went to a few seminars, met a few people, got into a party or two for free - and still it wasnt worth the fee. if you're going down to just chillout and have a good time at a few parties, i wouldnt recommend getting a badge
  17. if i recall correctly, the wyndham is waaaaaaaaaaaay up there on collins - past the fountainbleu, past the duexville. during the day, it might be a 10min ride down to south beach, but at night be prepared to be sitting in your car on collins for at least 1/2hr. we stayed at the raddisson the one year the conf was held up there, and it would take forever to get down to south beach. if youre not registering for the conf, it might be worth the extra $ to stay in south beach
