The reason someone would put cucumbers on their eyes is to rehydrate the skin. Thus, it doesn't necessarily tighten the skin. It just replenishes lost liquid due lack of sleep, heavy partying and sports (esp. outdoor sports). B/C cucumbers are 98% water, when someone puts them on their eyes the water gets absorbed by the lid of the eye and any "dark" circles under the eyes. I can't see this working on any other parts of the body.....but I wish it did!!!
