Shiot....this is a tough one. I can't think of anything that I have listened to that is 10 - 20 - 30 years old that I could put on now and think it fits with the present time. There are def. tracks and albums I could listen to b/c I would enjoy listening to them but not necesarily that they are "timeless". I find most music has it's time and place (like mentioned above...could we really see Miami Vice or Axel Foley going beyond the 80s??). To me, music evolves as our society around us does thus the music we either hear or personally listen to may/will have tendency to change with the times. We may enjoy the music but it has it's time and place. That being said I am sure if I think about it long enough I could come up with at least one track or album we could give the title "timeless" to. My very cheap 2 cents!!! ------------------

I have been to both clubs and I have to say I prefer TWILO overall. Yes, the sound system at the Guvernment is of high quality but TWILO's is so much better. The music and crowd are bigger and better at TWILO. The Guvernment is too 905 for me...too many coke/speed heads with too many muscles to flaunt (unless it has changed in the last few months). I know that's what some people like but it's just not my thing. Mind you, if a good DJ is coming to town I will go to the Guvernment for the show. A better comparison for the Guverment in NYC is EXIT, LIMELIGHT or SOUND FACTORY....they are more equivalent in music, crowd and general club ambiance. It you want to compare TWILO with clubs in Toronto it's easier to compare with SYSTEM or TURBO (yes I know that our clubs are much smaller in comparison but Friday night ambiance is very similar). My 2 cents! ------------------

What kind of music, what kind of club atmosphere, who would be the biggest Club Kid and why? I think the music would be Fatboy Slim meets Kid Rock crossed by a little of the newer music of Pat Boone. The bar would def. look like Moe's but would be larger and darker, including a beer theme (the walls would be cover with beer posters and those 70s/80s mirrors with pictures of beer on them, the Duff Beer blimp would be deflated and hanging from the ceiling, empty beer bottles would be hanging from the empty beer boxes would be the furniture and the bathrooms would be shaped like beer cans). The biggest Club Kid would be Barney...he would be drunk and high all the time, telling everyone about his clubbing experiences every weekend!!!! ------------------

Generally, I would have to say that Seinfeld was and remains one of my fave sitcoms (next to the Simpsons). Thus, to pick one episode is difficult...so here goes!!! Any episode involving Kramer's lawyer Jackie --- "This is the worst of my many humiliations" Merv Griffith Show episode Kramer when he cooked himself in the butter and Newman is stirring him in the hot tub. Soup Nazi Episode Maestro Episode (Villa's in Tuscany Episode) Fur Coat Episode Germs Episode Episode where Putty paints himself for a New Jersey - Devils hockey game and scares the visiting priest and the priest thinks Elaine is the Virgin Mother visiting him I know it's alot but what can I say!!!! ------------------

Hey...I am also a Torontonian!!! You are hitting NYC on a FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC weekend...lucky!!! Friday at TWILO is Danny Tenaglia and John Digweed. Saturday at TWILO is PVD. Of course there are hundreds of other clubs you could hit for that weekend but these nights will be big ticket events not to be missed!!! ------------------

I would have to say the Foie Gras Battle (a tie Battle that led to the Asparagus Battle that ended in another tie....pretty much a set up for the 300th show) and the Eel Battle where they are bashing and pinning the Eels' heads to the chopping blocks are my fave episodes. But, I never miss a Battle....one of my fave shows of all time!!! ------------------

Well, we came back last Thursday from a week in Nassau and it was a great time! It was so hot, the drinks were running like water and we generally enjoyed the fact that we were not at home. I have to admit...PORN and I were drunk out of our minds the first DAY...I emphasize DAY. Our other travel buddies from the board were not as bad off....I think. Porn and I had our first drink in hand by 10:30am. I don't think I was walking much after 4pm and PORN woke up all alone on a lounge chair beside a very dark and empty pool sometime after 6pm....damn those Bahama Papas with the 151 crack juice in them. It was a good thing we had guardian angels looking out for us that day (how did our luggage get to our room)....now if I can figure out how my bikini top came off I would feel a little better. The next night we went to Bahama Boom for a club experience and we dragged these 2 girls from Ohio with us and one of PORN's friends from Nassau. Some of us were rolling. I decided not to after I was basically molested on the dance floor. After I cleared my space all was good and I danced to really bad music like a maniac. Let's leave it at a unique experience. The rest of the vacation was sun, sand and surf, with some gambling and drinking to entertain us. There was one other night some of us rolled and just hung out at the hotel (note to the board...don't play pool while rolling and wearing sunglasses...there are too many balls on the table and they roll or fly towards oneself extremely fast). It was a very whacked experience....but those Bahama Papas go down very well in said state. We had to venture out for food several times due to the pain the hotel food was putting us through.....and it looked good too!!! Oh well...at least PORN had fun eating that massive rack of ribs!!! Will have pics soon! ------------------

Here is a good one for you: My friend's parents were coming home from Florida on April 01 2001. They had been in Florida for 3 months. So, my friend put a Century 21 For Sale sign (a friend of her's is a Real Estate agent) on her parent's lawn. They completely freaked on her...it was great!!! ------------------

Actually...yes...as I was recouping from the festivities of the night before, I filled my brain with alot of Iron Chef that day!! ------------------

I can't comment on Americans but with Canadians it is always best to have a beer (or any drink of choice) sometime after work or any day of the week (sure...the 5ish area works). Then there's France....I would be out running in the morning (6am - 7am area) and people would be at the bar having their morning beer (not that I am saying I didn't eventually join them....after a couple of months I fit right in)!!!! ------------------
