Hi Brandie! I wanted to respond to you b/c I think you may have been referencing to my comment about them wanting a "sexier, more mature crowd." Please don't misinterpret what I said. The crowd/vibe back in the day is what MADE the tunnel. If you took sexier/maturer to mean "classier", then I didn't get my point across. I meant a crowd with the same party attitude and love of the music/scene, but who are able to balance it - ya know, not get to the point where they are incoherent or paralyzed in K holes - IMO, sexy/mature means *real*- ie: there for the music/party/fun/to break all the rules, and NOT just to get f%^ked up beyond recognition OR to walk around with their "fat asses and booty shorts" tryin to out do one another with who has the bigger implants! I hope I better explained myself this time, if in fact I was the person you were referring to. See I'm thinkin that any of the bars that are that "nice" will be filled with stuffy, cigar-smokin 40ish, 50ish yr old men ...at least down here, ya know. I've never actually sought out a bar like that, but I've heard some good things about Divine Bar... from what I've heard it sounds like it would be in the middle of what you're describing. I really could ramble on about this for hours, but instead... Depends on the type of music. If we're talkin techno/trance/house etc., then "sick" music is one, or both, of these things: 1) gets under my skin and takes me on a *trip* (by itself w/out any type of part favors needed)where I feel that at that moment only me and the music exist... ya know, like the musis is swirling through your body and mind and sorta tellin you a story AND 2) even if you chained me to the floor, I just absolutely CAN NOT stop shakin my ass! If we're talkin about other types of music, be it jazz, blues, classical, etc., then SOMETIMES only part #1 applies. I had a very bizarre thing happen to me last night. I was dancin and all of a sudden my ankles felt reeeeeally stiff and like they were locking. I could dance a little, but if I tried to dance hard, it felt like they were in braces. When i tried rolling them in circles, I could only do it in slow motion.
