  1. Just checked Maze out on Friday, it was really sad to see that it was closed due to a lack of clubbers and promotion. I was thinking that a night like Aquabooty needed to infultrate the place and start something special there. Keep on promoting the night as you all did for Lola and there will be a steady and larger crowd for the night. I'll be supporting the Maze-Aquabooty night, most definately! Start the BUZZ
  2. it's going to be a groovy night *bump*

  13. here's a respectable message from lee burridge: Hello you lot. Well i've pondered over this email for a little while to basically make it come across the right way(to myself as well as you). The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs of 2002 voting time is upon us once again and its you and only you who make the difference.I myself and other DJs i admire and love losing it to on the dancefloor need your help.DJs like Craig Richards,Terry Francis,DJ3,Ralph Lawson and all the excellent DJs from your city/country don't employ PR companies to make themselves 'popular',they just go out and play records 'cause they love playing records and you either like us,or you don't.Simple! If you have the time and the inclination to put a vote in this year then please go to www.djmag.com and put, top 100 vote ,in the search window and then all you have to do is fill in your 5 favorites.I think your vote can help loosen the grip that the more PR influenced/commercial DJs such as Judge Jules,Oakenfold,Tiesto etc have had for years. If you find the time maybe you could also foward this onto any like minded people who wouldn't just be helping keep those same DJs at the top again this year(save of course the ones who are passionate about what they do). Thats it really...

    James and Sasha

VERY VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!! Zabiela's set was GREAT!!!! He's also a very cool dude. (photos to come) I'd say he started the night up right with some funky tunes, scratching, cutting, dropping tracks.... WHOAH. Everything that has been said about him is true. Oh, Sorry Diego... he stole your title of "Papi Chulo." I even taught him how to say it. As far as Sasha's set goes... it wasn't bad. the crowd was definately FEELIN' it. I, however, was not. I noticed that he would drop some massive tracks here and there that would catch my attention but it seems that most of the tracks in between had a dated, trancey sound. NOT MY THING. At times it felt like being at a rave. Some of the CPers would have loved it! Overall the night was DYNAMIC and FUN. Crobar was packed until it closed. You all should have seen the look on Carmel's face @ 5:00am looking out onto the huge crowd still gathered below the DJ booth. It was pretty cool, especially since it was a Monday night. It actually felt cool to be coming home when everyone else was leaving to work. Hadn't done that in years.
