I think Gladiator deserved an Oscar award for there had not been a historical epic themed movie (Roman Times) in quite some time that caught audiences attention!! I think since the 60's Maybe since "Ben Hur" or something!! Traffic I thought was a good movie but it's a totally different than Gladiator!It may had more elements than Traffic in the movie that the Academy thought was necessary to win the Oscar!! Both were excellent movies in there own respects but Gladiator may have had the edge!!

Hey I'm from CT Danbury to be exact and does anyone go to SF on Sats or not? CT kinda sucks because of the 2 am cufew thing!! If anyone is down for next weekend at SF (SAT)I'll be meeting up with peeps from Boston in NYC !! Let me know whats up peace!!!!

Days I never hear about him on this board that often well that is because I'm on another board most of the time (www.soundfactoryboston.com)!!! That's were most people from Boston chat!! Anyways what type of sets does he play is he still tribally or has he changed? Where does he play at? I know he plays at Miami but does he spin still at Roxy Sats? I just want some info so those of you who are knowledgable please let me know what's up!!! What do you think of him? Please reply with some opinions!!

Wish I had gone!! I wanted to go!!! I will get the summary from others I know for sure!! Going sober is not bad but it's hard to stay up sometimes!!! I do it from time to time!!! VD or whatever you wanna call it will vary on every person's situation: If your with your hubby dubby then it's superb if your single then it sucks!! To me it's become a very obsolete day for a while now!! If I get a date by then great if not oh well!! I'll just have to occupy myself if it's been like the past!! Very overrated and hyped up day if you ask me!!! Too all the lonely people on that day I'm feelin you all!!

I feel that first of all try to resolve the fight w/o violence by all means necessary!! Use common sense. If there's cops don't fight right in front of them!!! If the fight is just to show how much testosterone you have then that is foolish!! It should be for a worthy cause maybe for a friend or girlfriend someone harrased or something like that!! Fighting in clubs are foolish for you seal your exit for the night!! If you need to fight go elsewhere and fight!! I personally will not back down to any challengers but I will not start fights!! Also take regards to how large your opponent is and how many of his boys are with that individual!! Also some people are dirty fighters and will cheap shot others so take that into consideration!!! A lot of people have the mentality of doing whatever it takes to win!! That's an allright approach but think of the consequences don't kill that person!! Best of all is use your brain as someone said earlier for that is the best weapon against stupidity and ignorance!! If you have martial arts background (like myself) it helps to but don't go out and think your Bruce Lee or something!! Enjoy your night and you will have less things to think about than fighting!!

Matt Olson was my neighbor and I met Gilman through him!! They both are here and there!!Gilman goes to Avalon Sats and Olson goes to Venu Thurs sometimes!!!Both are cool kids!!!

Being that I go to Factory the most and I don't live that close to NYC then I would say JP but,I've heard mainly Johnnie V on the radio and never heard him live and that is where you can distinguish his style!! His final products being his remixes I think rock and are nasty!!! I also hear JP over and over and he is just as Nasty and a very versatile dj!! They both deserve their props and both have definite followings!! The edge though I would give to Peter's it would be very slightly!! Two other dj's I would like two hear live in NYC are Junior and Danny Tenaglia for I want to hear them in their respective resedencies at Twilo and Vinyl!! Who is better between the two I leave that to the rest of the board!!!!

Oh I forgot to mention I do know Matt Olson and Mike Gilman to that fellow who said he knew these guys!!!

Living in Boston and knowing Mr.Caufield and having worked for Lansdowne st. NYC and the Boston club scene are not even close!!! When the night is just getting good it ends and many have to resort to going to weak after hours or going home!! Boston does have good world reknown dj's every now and then but the 2am curfew sucks!!!! People in NYC don't start getting ready until later in the night than in Boston it's ridiculous but that's the reality!! In NYC you have more time on your side and the scenes are a little different!! SF, Limelight, Exit, World,Twilo, Webster's Hall, Roxy are just some of the venues you could check out and add to the variety you have in the city to pretty much two major clubs in Boston in Avalon and Roxy!! Venu is good too but is not huge it's actually small!! When Boston extends their curfew hours longer then and maybe then can we compare the two club scenes!! For now NYC is in a league of it's own!!! If you like the long clubnights then don't come to Boston for as a New Yorker you will be disappointed!! The only after hours in Boston is club Rise and to go there you have to either know some one there (which I do)or know a member in order to get in!! It open until the max 7 or 8am so your best bet is to stay in NYC for NYC is the COMPLETE club scene!!!

My b-day is July 24th and I'm 24 and just like Duckets said all July b-days should have a huge party for all of us somewhere in the city!! I have Cancer and Leo in me and am forunate to have the Latin goddess Jen Lopez as a famous person with who I could share the same b-day with!! Jen let Puffy Go!!!

Lived in Boston and you can't compare apples to oranges. NYC is where it's and the latest you can stay out until is 2am!! If you were coming in Thurs I would tell you to check out Venu because I used to work there!! Fridays I would say go to Avalon or the Roxy!!! They are the 2 biggest clubs in Boston. I hope you don't go to Boston for <A HREF="http://www.clubplanet.com/newyearseve/">New Year's </a> because ou will be disappointed!!! Peace and see ya on the flipside!!!

I've got to say that "Wishing Well" if it is the Hani mix is the jam!! JP rips it up. He and others djs have so many sick jams I wish I had access to them all. Also the "have you ever seen a god " new remix by Alex and Leo (very trancy) is pretty phat and the track done by Tony from Sporatic grooves is phat as wells it's on the new Oakenfold Cd.
