red has left arena, with arena becoming a hip-hop night on fridays. red is moving to its new downtown location this friday, boasting 3 rooms instead of its old 1... more details at: www.nexxez.com mauro picotto was supposed to play red's opening night (this friday, the 4th), but he backed out at the last minute due to some "personal problems". as consolation, red is giving free admission before 11 pm!!! i'm actually considering going, as i have no moolah and free certainly sounds good . i'm a fan of some of red's residents, but some of their names are so damn similar that i always get them confused and don't remember which ones i like (hendo, kosho, wedoe...). but i will admit, honestly, that the opening djs at red recently hadn't been too good. i think, though, that they'll most likely be playing stuff to which people can relate this week. anycaca, is anyone thinking of going ?

i'm working all weekend, including the 4th . seriously, people, who shops on the 4th? i understand that the world of retail's open most of the year, but would you go to buy a frikkin' camera on the 4th of july? ridiculous .
