Try a place where they host small parties/events or have free happy hours for guests. (Chesterfield, Shelborne, etc.) As for prices they are INFLATED cuz it's WMC especially since you waited so long to book hotel. I was lucky and booked the crescent suites at $259/night within a day they announced the dates of WMC. A week later the rates skyrocketed after hotels found out the dates. It's now $439 a night for the same room.

WMC probably a teensy bit better especially if you like EDM. Last year was the first year I have been to WMC and had the best time I have ever had of the dozen times I have been to South Beach. It's still cold in Vegas in March. You might get lucky though. last year I went to Vegas the weekend after WMC and the weather was chilly. No Vegas this year for me though. Going to Europe with a few days in Ibiza the end of summer instead.

I was only there 4 nights. This year will only be 3 nights.

Actually the best game I have ever seen was OSU-MIAMI.

Reggie Bush blew it with that lateral. HUGE Momentum shift. Vince Young is a stud. So is Lindell White. I think both are better than Bush or Leinhart.

After watching last night's game Vince Young looked pretty good. But he would get beat up behind the Fins offensive line.
