Filter was awesome. The place was packed. Nice crowd, too. You're right, for such a small club, the sound system is nice. Very clear--almost like a Phazon. Filter is what a club should be;small, dark, and dirtyyyyyyy.Fortier and Porter blew the roof off of that place. They had me danin' for 3 hours. The whole night was sooo worth the $5 I paid. BTW, you were At Arc last nigth?? I was there, too...

I wasn't too impressed with Talla. His mixing was ok, but I just wasnt feelin' his music. The hard, fast beats bother me...All in all, an OK night. March 1st Gatecrasher makes a return to Arc. I think I'll be there for that!

I saw Steve Porter last night @ Filter, and let me tell ya: The guy ripped down the place. I havent heard sick music like that in monhts. He, along with Fortier, had me dancing non-stop for three hours. I highly recommend you guys catch him at Centro this Sunday. If you like sick, deep dark house music, then youre in for a treat! well, to get technical, scumfrog is not originally from NY, but now considers himself a NY transplant(taken from his website). either way, I understand where you're coming from. I, too, noticed that he has shows coming up on the 20th @ Centro! ..and March 11th and Filter 14th. I guess you're right. Do both on Thursday, and see Talla on Sat!

Satoshi and LES @ Centro for free before 12, or Steve Porter and Chris Fortier @ Filter 14 for $5. Maybe I'll do both, but if you guys had to choose, who would you go for? Oh, same thing with Saturday..Its either Talla 2XlC @ Arc, or Scumfrogggg @ Sullivan Room.
