Biography: George Latimer McCook III was born and raised in Freeport, NY. He had an early influence on techno music by travelling to Belgium since he was a little boy. Belgium is also the land where the smurfs reside, and all his friends used to call him "papa smurf" since he was wise beyond his years, and always wore a funky red hat. His friends in Belgium got him into the electronic music scene, and he brought what he learned to the states. Artists like Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Carl Cox, and Donald Glaude left an early impression on George. George bought a dual cd mix system while he was in college, and practiced making beats. But his true talent came in human beatboxing. Whether on the train, waiting on line, or just hanging out, George can rip into some funky breakbeatz with his voice, and leave the onlookers astounded. George partied at Twilo, Limelight and Soundfactory. He also frequented EXIT before it got lame. Now he enjoys going to Centro-fly, Plant Bar and anywhere that the big festivals are taking place. George works at Proskauer Rose law firm in the City, and loves snowboarding, dancing, and being the life of the party.
