As others have alluded to, its all in how you present what you've got..and when I say that its not only in a material sense, but in a identity sense. Women like when you've got a good sense of your identity. Signifies a person who's in control of themselves. Problem is, alot of times Bravado gets mistaken for this kind of self assurance. As someone else stated, Instances of this is truly rare....When someone of average looks gets with a person perceived as "out of their league" in an unexplainable way ( status of the person's wealth unknown) its a signal that the system really is working properly..that all in all there still is the <I>potential</I> that human beings can transcend to looking for a definite sense of character rather than whats superficial, thereby setting us apart from the 'animals'. Good looking people will still continue to mate with each other, but there still exists the <I>potential</I> for something different. The beautiful chaos that is human kind. Or something to that effect.. (insert high smiley here)

I was kinda thinking that too, although I thought for a moment there they were trying to draw a parallel theme of doing the right thing, sometimes for the wrong reasons (Julian helping with the child rearing, even though it isn't his child = friend helping gunshot victim even though he's not obligated to). I wonder who got shot in the room though. I wonder if she shot the friend or shot herself finally. (If this was shown, I missed it).

Great Episode, although I do have to admit that parts of it made me kinda uncomfortable (that means they're doing a good job because it was supposed to, I would think, be somewhat unsettling). The music parts with Sean and the twitch I personally think 'made' the episode. I found myself anticipating it anxiously while cutting the cake at the end. All in all a great episode.

As much as it pains me to do so, I'd have to agree with what pie hole up here is saying. Eating disorders, 9 times out of 10, are usually carried by upwardly mobile white girls that live in the suburbs. I think alot of it has to do with the fact that many of these girls, being pretty much useless, find themselves 'competing' with each other as far as who can look the best and rock the most expensive gear. The majority of the time the most expensive, fashionable stuff is made for waif thin women, so ones weight will correlate directly on how stylish one has the potential to be, and therefore one's place in the pecking order. This of course assumes that one is talking about your typical suburbanite, rich girl princess. Same thing goes for rich girls in the city. Its all the same.
