  1. Be nice Phatman, we thought you'd enjoy the convo too.
  2. Mini-meathead...lol. It's a sick obsession I have, I guess you could say. Roya
  3. I'm not registered on the site, I just read it like it's going out of style. I should stop though, it's messing with my head. Where are you from? Roya
  4. Aren't you on the Elite Board also? Think i've read your posts there. Roya
  5. I'm reading, You'll See it, When You Believe It, by Dr. Wayne Dyer. Interesting book and is more or less along the lines of Self-Awareness, and discovering the amazing powers that lie within each of us. Roya
  6. The last time I checked the DJ was Ziggy. He also does afterhours at Centro on Thursday nights. He makes you shake your ass....it's inevitable. Roya
  7. You'll be just fine. I'll tell Gersh you said Hello. Hope to see you soon. Take care. Roya;)
  8. Darrell, is this you? That was dating Juliesa (spelling). And if so, holy shit. I definitely thought you two had the trust issue down pact. If this isn't the Darrell I'm thinking of, sorry. In any case, we've all been in relationships where one person doesn't trust the other. That's not okay. As human beings, we all wonder, we think a lot, we let out imaginations get the best of us, and damn if we dont' begin to dwell on our imaginary thoughts, and force ourselves to believe they are true, or will come true. This only leads to one thing, failure in a relationship. The key is communication. I'm not saying communication is the answer, but I'm saying, when we do fear, or worry or are insecure about our significant other, a simple "honey I've been thinking of this, or thinking in a certain way about you that makes me uncomfortable" will allow for the doors to open where both sides can exchange their feelings and be able to sort out any false beliefs. It may also allow for you to find the real person within them and determine if they just may not be suitable for you. It sucks that there is so much politics in a relationship. And about her wanting you to be the rich man in her life, if she can't do it for herself, she better not be asking for it. Just my two cents. Roya
  9. Darrell, what happened? Roya
  10. I don't post much, but I do read the board, and to see a post like yours makes my heart melt. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this, and if I could just for one day, give you positive energy or positive reinforcement, and make you know that having faith in whatever higher power you choose will bring you through this then I would feel complete. So please, be strong, surround yourself by caring, loving people, and have faith....Everything will work out. Roya
  11. I work next door to Nyla. It's a cute restaurant and seems as if it will do well although, it is Brittany's. The Grand Opening was yesterday and the streets were MOBBED. There were young boys and girls standing outside with signs like they were at her concert. The menu isn't anything to write home about. I wish her the best of luck.
  12. Come to Bay Ridge. It isn't too far from the city (unless of course you have to travel to midtown for work like me). It's affordable and there's tons to do from bars to yummy restaurants. You can find a fantastic one bedroom for under a thousand. Check it out. roya
  13. MS. Russia is super cute. I thought Ms. South Africa was sexy too. Roya
  14. MIAMI stinks on Memorial Day. It's thugged out, crowded and filled with a terrible crowd. If you haven't purchased your tickets, I'd re-think the idea. I went last year, not listening to anyone warning me about it. I wouldn't ever do it again for Mem. Day. Just my honest opinion.
  15. Getting a job here, especially in Finance isn't easy. I'm originally from DC too (been here for 2 years) and got recruited out of school with a Mutual Fund Corp that I am still with. I've been interviewing for the past 2 months, and there are few opportunities available and you'd have to be willing to take HUGE paycut to advance. Everything is on the Exec. level. I'm considering going back to DC due to a nice offer. I'd stick around there if I were you. Roya
  16. Financial Analyst, graduate with Bachelor's in Finance. Work for a Mutual Fund Corp which required a Series 6. Consists of daily monitoring and research of price, news, changes of securites held within each of the funds. Trade on clients accounts as well.
  17. Jean Paul Gaultier for women is what I wear. Although, the same cologne for men is absolutely amazing. It's a warm, spicy, sexy scent. For you men, another amazing scent is Santos by Cartier. It's hard to find, but super sexy.
  18. I can't wait. I bought my advance ticket yesterday. It's going to be a sick show. You can preview the cars if you go to the NY Auto Show Website!
  19. Darrell, is that you? Gersh's friend? It's Roya. If it is......sup?
  20. I'll be there.......with bells on! SUPERSTAR
